    no footprints in snow games?

Maybe I'm missing something but why are there no footprints in the game. Stupid little complaint I know but its just bugging me. Haven't they been in there for a few years now? Its small but adds to the game in my opinion. I'm playing ps3 version..does 360 have them ?

360 version has footprints that fade away quicker in heavy snowfall.

I've never been a graphics guy so I don't care about stuff like this, but I do have to admit that it's annoying in snow games how after halftime and they shovel the snow off all of the yardage lines and the hashes that the overlay is from Madden's narrow hashes instead of on the actual NCAA hashes on the field.

EDIT: Nevermind, woah big miss by me. Thanks BleedGreen710. I searched for NCAA 14 Snow Game and I think just assumed the results were from this year. Sorry about that.

Interesting...this video shows footprints and it's PS3. You can see the button icons in the video.

I didn't notice it at the time, but I don't see any prints here:

Remember when face masks were a minor nuisance, but something that was in demand to be fixed? It turned out to be the majority of the patch. Just saying...

its just god dam embarrassing. its 2013 and you feel like you're playing a sega game at times. you see what other developers (naughty dog, rockstar) do with these systems and then you play ncaa and your like...wtf seriously?

I dont want that to be the majority of the next patch believe me. And honestly if it is its embarrassing even more since im sure they just just forgot to put it back in the code after they patched it.

There are three different levels of snowfall. Have you tried them all?

Side note: How cool would it be to have dynamic weather?

This isn't meant to be offensive at all, but this is very irrelevant to the gameplay experience, period.

I have a PS3 and I tried a game with moderate and heavy snowfall and no footprints.

Here's a video I found on youtube of an Xbox user.....

                        So it's a PS3 issue.

To each their own. It's not a game breaker of any sort, but having the players leave footprints on a snow-covered field is a nice touch. I just wish that EA would spend some more time to making sure that the playstation version isn't inferior to the Xbox version.

While I agree that it doesn't impact gameplay (but wasn't there a time where weather affected traction?), the little things with the stadiums/sounds/fields do more for me than the constant complaints about equipment styles and hair that some feel that way about. No offense to the people that are obsessive about equipment/appearance of players, as long as the uniforms are correct (or pretty close) the setting holds more importance in my mind for a more immersive experience.

Agreed. I don't begrudge those who get so frustrated about equipment but for me it's a collection of issues like this that takes away from the immersion factor.

Here's to hoping we still have a game with the next gen and they find a way to correct these issues.
