PS3 Retail version running slow?

Anybody have the menus running slow? When downloading roster files or anything it's very slow an I've had a couple freezes here an there.. Anyone know? Thanks guys

I haven't even been able to play a game yet. Mine has been freezing while loading a Play Now game.

hmm im still playing the early release version on ps3 and haven't had any slow running or freezing and I've d/led a few things offline and have played like 30 play now games hope that's not issue in disc version.

Yea I can't even get into practice mode.. I really can't do anything. Tried to load my roster an that takes about 1 1/2 min just to LOAD..everything else is the same.

Yep, I can't even start Owner Mode... It keeps freezing right after I select the type of owner.

It was like that since last week, both on the original version, and even after downloading the 1.01 update.

I'm hopeful there will be a patch today to fix it -- otherwise the game is a completely write off.

(Xbox 360 is perfect...)

mine is so slow its frustrating. ive talked to 2 ea "help" people and nobody can do anything.
whenever i start up the game the menus move at like 2 fps, and whenever i try to access ANY GAMEMODE, it freezes

Have you guys tried deleting the patch? Atleast you'll be able to enjoy some of the game until they put in a fix.

The game isnt even running right out of the box? Glad i read this before i bought it. Ill pass till next gen.

ive deleted the patch and the game works fine, but im pretty much limited to play now because i cant log in and not dl the patch

Can people having this issue please state whether or not they have the retail disc or the downloaded full version (not season ticket)?

Let's say 20 guys came in here and said retail disk and it had issues while 20 others said that the downloaded the game digitally and it worked perfect.

I'm sure people would be more inclined to download the digital copy.
