I'm only wondering how the multiple outfits will work for a few characters, specifically Shawn Michaels. We've seen three different versions of him now in the game... actually, no, four. The roster reveal showed an incarnation that is basically his WWE 13 model. I'm fine with that. It's a perfect recreation of him. The tights look different (striped with solid hearts) which is a nice change. Then there's retro HBK, which we've seen in the reveal and in the footage of Razor on the ladder. Then there's the original modern HBK we've seen in the original trailer and the (red tights) version against Ric Flair. And there's a special guest referee version of him.

Yet we'll only be able to use two different (WWE 13 and retro) in exhibition/free play?

All speculation, but I believe special referees are just going to be wearing referee shirts.

As for the "Modern" and "WWE 13" model, I'd guess that one's just an alternate attire.

Love the roster! Just wish Psycho Sid and Rick Rude were in as well. Im still happy though. Hopefully they have a functioning universe mode this time round and not a glorified exhibition mode

I feel you man, especially about Rude. I thought for sure that his match with Warrior at WM5 would make the cut, but I guess it gets tricky negotiating with the deceased. No worries, I was able to find an awesome Rick Rude CAW last year, sure it won't be a problem finding another one. Would've been priceless though if they had his "What I'd like right now is for all you fat, lazy, (insert town here) sweat hogs to shut your mouth while I take off my robe and show the ladies what a real man looks like" in the entrance. The guy was a magician on the mic, I'm laughing just thinking about him.

I remember there being an article someone posted saying "The majority of the roster is '30 Years of Wrestlemania' guys are the full roster of the game".. I think it's safe to say that was false. 29 of the 50 '30 Years of Wrestlemania' guys are from the primary roster, but it doesn't look good according to the WWE 2k14 website in terms of total superstars.

They only have 13 blank spots at the bottom of the page.

It could mean nothing, it could be there's only 13 more superstars left.. or it could mean there's going to be 13 Legend DLC in the future.. Who knows?

Hopefully the release the full roster soon. Still no time table on it's release.

I feel you man I wish they could add alternative attires to the wrestlers instead of like 3 different characters of the SAME wrestler but it won't matter because if they did it like and we tried to change the attires Universe will disable everything like cutscenes etc......

If you don't pre-order the game, you can only use him in his matches in "30 Years of Wrestlemania". If you pre-order, you can use him however you want.

Or if going by the past 2 years is the same just buy the game from Walmart (on Black Friday like I did and will again this year) and get the preorder wrestler that way. I got the Rock in '12 and Tyson last year without preordering.

I get mine at Best Buy and they always have the preorder stuff already in.

Shows how flawed Universe Mode really is. 2K could make it a good mode but THQ had 3 years to work on it and they made it worse every year with less and less control they gave the user.

Any word on when the full roster will be announced? Seems like by this time last year we already knew who was in the game plus the 1st wave of DLC.

I've been checking every day and there's still been no word on it. You'd think they'd have at least given us a release day for it. Maybe they have a surprise for us, who knows?

After Owen Hart's Widow finally agreed with the WWE, I'm surprised he wasn't included just for the Owen/Bret match.

She finally agreed?!?!?! Thank you now it's time for Owen Hart to return!

It would be a little weird for Razor Ramon and Diesel to have NWO Attire since they were never in it. There also hasn't been anything confirmed that I can see.

Fandango seems to have been confirmed. Apparently, during a hands-on at PAX 2013, the team was talking about how they bring in the wrestlers on special occasions if their motion capture people can't do it right and "they had to bring in the real guy to do a dance upon finding their guys weren’t much for dancing."

I highly doubt it. They are clearly using the mid 90s models so 1994 Diesel and Ramon years before they jumped to WCW and I doubt they would it that awful Austin/Hall Mania 18 match in the game
