there you go. they would still all be in the game, albeit different versions.
but you would be able to create them again.

I kinda liked having the 98 Jazz in there instead of earlier incarnations since I knew they were, by then, veteran players and by that I enjoyed playing the slow pick n roll with them instead of just trying to dunk over people with Malone.

Would be same with Clyde if the 95 Rockets were in. He'd be a dependable SG. In that case I'd try to get the 96 Rockets instead so you'd have Drexler, Hakeem and Barkley in there.

I should be glad the legends are still in but part of me feels eh with the same legends back from 2K12 for the 3rd game in a row. Now I enjoy using Jordan as much as the next guy but aside from that they really needed to do something new with the legends this year or at least adding a new team it just feels like such a waste rehashing the majority of the 2K12 legends lineup once again.

That is definitely one way to look at it and your certainly entitled. I am of the other mind. Just thankful they didn't take these guys out, Generic players, Broken plays... Whatever just don't take them out LOL! We can fix the other stuff. but if they are removed then it will really suck for those who love them.

As you look back over basketball game history never has a game shipped with so many players from the past on their teams with their uni's etc. You can go from the 70's up to today. That is freaking incredible when you look at what we have prior to 2k11.

Sure I would welcome more but I am more concered with maintaining than advancing at this point. YMMV of course.

I don't think I'd call it a waste to include the same squads as before. A big part of me is just relieved that they haven't been eliminated.

That said, I understand where you're coming from in terms of hoping for more teams to be included. The history of the NBA is so deep, with so many wrinkles, that it's just teeming with possibility in terms of how 2K could implement it within their game. And as always, if individual licensing is an issue, they could still cook up some recent classics with 7-10 man rosters using players already included in 2K.

I love all the classics already included (even the lesser knowns like the '85 Bucks) but in a way, that just made me hungry for a little more. I'd even take more classic jerseys and some retro courts and make my own squads from there.

Isiah Thomas could dunk, has done it quite a few times...matter of fact one for his highlights is a offensive rebound dunk over our boy Robert Parrish. Glad these legends are in the game though

To be fair, I didn't know that Bird could dunk, until I saw a YouTube clip. That's amazing considering that I grew up watching basketball in the eighties and nineties.

It would be cool if each game they change up the teams a bit kind of like WWE games where you have your mainstay legends(in this case classic teams) like the 96 Bulls, 87 Lakers, 86 Celtics but you then switch it up with other teams. One year we might get the 94 Knicks the next we might see the 04 Pistons.

I think it would makes things fresh and have it more meaningful when you see an old school team in the game rather than the same 15 teams every year give or take one or two players per team.

Looks polished and nice. Rosters will still have a couple of generic players (Olajuwon picture) but that doesn't bother me too much. Just happy to see Legends are still in.

Hope they've added some new ones too this year, but no evidence of that here.

Ha, yes yes, I was waiting on that clip to make an appearance. Those three dunks happen to be the only ones I've ever seen of Isiah jamming, not to mention he used his off hand for a fun boost on the first two bits. He was typically not a dunker, even less so in '89 than earlier in his career. It'd kind of be like a 2K screenshot emerging of Chris Paul dunking over Kevin Garnett then someone posting this as proof that it's okay:

Again though, no worries on this end because all that stuff is editable in a split second. I just wonder who decided Isiah tomahawk dunking would be the best screenshot to throw out there.

I am well aware that Thomas was not Dominique Wilkins 2.0. The video is only proof to show that the man COULD dunk in an nba game to show the poster I was responding to that he could indeed dunk. I was not counting how many times the man dunked in a game over the course of his career when I was growing up. There are many people in the pros who aren't typically dunkers who have dunked in an NBA game. Does that mean 2k should never put out a screenshot with X player attempting to dunk a ball? Like you said though not a big deal VD and this is the least of 2k14's issues to worry about.
