coach xp when playing as owner

Does your coach spend his own XP? Cuz I swear my coaches xp goes down without me buying any packages?

I don't think they will spend it on their own. Go into your Staff tab and hit A (on 360) on your head coach. Will take you to the coach XP page.

I'm with you Beasnizzle. As owner my team won the SB and yet my coach's XP is at 80 at the start of the next season. I'm sorry but it should be way higher than that. So either he is spending it (doubtful) or this area is broken as well.

It looks to me like its broken. I went into mine after week two, Philbin had 527 XP, not enough to buy anything. I played my next game, I trashed the Colts 42-14. I went in again, Philbin's XP is 87 now. Something that's not right... is happening. Im playing offline btw.

Yeah mines doing the same. I tweeted looman about it but I doubt he responds since it's not a butt kissing complement about the game

Bump. This happened to me after preseason. Anyone figure it out?

I can confirm the same issue in my online franchise. Four users, all owners we started with early release, on release day yesterday every user's coach XP went to 0 or was lowered significantly.

This renders Coach or Owner mode pretty useless then...

This needs to be on the forefront of patches immediately!

This was working correctly in the season ticket early release. I have yet to check now that its out.

Are any of you using the auto progress players? Because as an Owner this also auto progresses the coach.

Nope. Manual Progress for me. It's sad.

This is a huge bug, game breaking one IMO. If you can't get xp on your coach then coach and owner modes (aka real franchise mode) is worthless.

What are your progress settings at? Mine is set at every four weeks and my coach happened to lose xp after the fourth week. I'm not at home and can't test it. Anyone set their's to end of season?

Not really worthless, you just don't get to buy the contract boosts or the other coach bonuses. None of those are required to enjoy or play Owner mode.

It sucks, but it's not gamebreaking.
