I would've been more impressed if they showed something like this...

Since you will be able to do fake passes on the run this year I'd be surprised if this fake wasn't in, at least, Rondo's package.

But I agree, they should've shown us that since I don't think that Kobe clip even includes a pass fake.

I kind of agree that it looks more a part of the gather or as if he were about to lose the ball and got it back, I just dont get the feel of a fake pass at all.

If they were attempting it, they need a new animation that better portraits it.

Even tho I still dont get the "feel" of this one (more of a bad bounce, anything but a fake pass, lol), one thing is certaint, the animation is fluid and if whatever crazy imputs users do end with such fluidness, we are in for a great game, would dare to say even more on next gen.

I have seen the straight gathers on step back and they didn't look like that( unless this was new). I have never seen anyone IRL actually do a pass fake while stepping back so It probably looks weird in real life too LOL.

They should've shown some animations that players actually do in real life rather than a step back fake pass shot animation that no one does in a real game...

Just want to see the game being as realistic as possible to real life.

How many times do I have to emphasize that some of the passing animations need to go such as the soccer, two hand over the head pass animation. Players simply don't do that these days, maybe back in the day...

Also that pass animation after a rebound, when a big passes it to a teammate who is close by looks weird, they should replace it with a one handed (underhand) animation or a soft pass to a nearby defender. They need to rework some passing animations depending on distances.

Also another aspect of the game I'm worried about is the AI again. Hopefully the CPU doesn't use most of the shot clock to set up a play again and I've noticed in a couple of the videos that most of the shots are either 3pters or PIP... Hardly any midrange game again (don't want to depend on excessive roster edits and slider alters to make the game playable)

looks like a replay zoomed in, while it looks like 2k13, also it looks like bledsoe got stuck behind the bigman, which in real life bledsoe would have been playing man up on kobe instead he was playing so far back, kobe could have just pulled up and made a 3!

If we could do THIS, then I'd be impressed.

It's not a pass fake, it's a gather. Sometimes players lose control of the ball which leads to a sloppy gather similar to the one in the clip.
