Me too. Again- apologies for the I rate posts before.

As i said, these were perfect at one point (pre corrections) before too many hands got control of them... Somehow a butchered version made its way to a "final" Psn and I happened to stumble upon it. The ones who did legitimate work I applaud u. Those who tampered should feel ashamed and embarrassed and know that karma will work it's justice. That is all. Best of luck as I am editing all depth charts on my own and adding coach slider edits

I'm not really sure what happened. But I'm doing the research and will do my best to get any mistakes corrected.

These aren't official updates though, so rosters that aren't ready to be released are going to be on "final" PSNs because we trade back and forth that way. We don't both taking them off because this has never been an issue, but apparently it is now.

Could you post any of the mistakes you found? I believe I may know why/how some of them happened.

Arizona has a te as their starting punt returner
all FS are SS
None of the FS are on the depth chart...
Arizona depth chart has a lot if issues on the msugaige download...


Arkansas o line looks all out of wack


All of ark states lolb are SS


Army's ss all out of order

Boise state LOLB all set as SS.

Duke has a wr starting at strong safety

A 0 OVERALL TE AS STARTING LEFT END ON FSU

UNC had limited amount of LB

ND has no punter

I edited a lot more this is just very notable stuff

Just so everyone knows how this happens, whenever you edit a player from one position to another, that player stays on the depth chart at the original position unless it's edited.

Why these depth charts weren't checked after the players were changed, we don't know.

For example, Duke.

The WR starting at SS was most likely a player we edited from SS to WR.. but whoever did that edit didn't go back into the Depth Chart and fix it.

Some small fixes for North Texas:

Dajon Williams needs to be included as a true Freshman quarterback. Replace Gill if necessary. The thoughts are that he's going to be redshirted this year and then will be competing for the starting job next season with Berglund.

He's a speedy option-style QB with a decent arm. Here's his profile.

Kicker Zach Olen is a lefty.

There are also a few name fixes that I don't have in front of me but I can add them here later.

You guys have to take these to the Corrections Thread because Corrections Posts in the non-Corrections Thread usually get deleted. Just so you guys don't lose your posts.

Also, Notre Dame only has a kicker because their kicker is also their punter.. so we're not wasting a space on a punter if their starter is also their kicker.

If a team does not have a LOLB that could be intentional. Teams that run a 4-2-5 will not have a LOLB and in the depeth chart you will see backup SS at that position. I know Arkansas St and Boise St fall under this description.

Also, if a team has 1 kicker who does both the kicking and the punting, there may not be a punter listed. I don't know if that is the case with ND, but it could be.

Bob explained the depth chart issues.

Also, the FSU DE issues has been fixed in the most recent update. Download from volstopfan14. Over the next few days I will be working to correct any other issues.

3 quick things:

1. You guys that work so hard on the roster files are aware that the roster corrections thread has now been closed for some reason?

2. Since that thread is gone, I'll just quickly mention that Michigan State released their opening day depth chart today. Only notable change is once again at RB. Starter is now Jeremy Langford. Riley Bullough is 2nd, Nick Hill 3rd.

3. Question: Is there going to be an official V4 roster coming out, or should we just check volstopfan and bigbob's files day-to-day?

Who on the roster should those 2 replace? Ray Lewis III isn't on the depth chart (heck he's a RB but the site lists him as a DB, which basically means he's not good enough to play at his actual position and MAY get onto the field on defense), and neither is the True Freshman QB. If they aren't better than 3rd string then they aren't going to be on this Roster. They only have 70 spots for 85 Scholarship players, guys who have no chance at starting this year have no chance of making it onto these Rosters. Additionally Pudgee stated this a few posts below your original post.
