I was getting owned against Washington with Seattle defense bro. 2 Man Under is one of my base D and I think I got burned twice using 2 Man Under.Comment

It ain't easy. The way I stop it is by playing LB or Slot corner and coming behind the blockers and stoping the HB in his tracks.
I have nothing to offer for corner screens lolComment

Re: What's The Best Way To Stop HB Screens In Madden 25..?
Are you playing against CPU or Human? And what player do you control?
I normally play with a DT or DE. I would suggest switching to Cover 2 Zone. CB are in the flats, where the screen will be, and you wont be over pursuing with blitzing LB's.
Aside from that you will need to be controlling a d-lineman. You cant just b-line for the screen as a linebacker because you still have a zone responsibility. Leaving that zone could cause a huge gain on a down field throw. When you see the O-Line break to the flat to set up a wall for the screen you need to immediately switch to a dlineman and hoof it over to the flat. Dont go chasing the QB! Sure it looks like you may be able to drop him for a huge loss, but he will sling it at the last second and burn you.
Avoid cover 3 because the flats are open all day. Man Coverage might not be too bad because you will more than likely have a LB manned up on the HB so he will put himself in position to make a play. But man coverage normally means a blitz, and the screen is designed to beat aggressive defenses.
Hope this helps, and please point out any ideas in my theories.Comment

Re: What's The Best Way To Stop HB Screens In Madden 25..?
Making the DE's QB contain usually puts them in the path of the screen pass. Even get a few interceptions w/ DE's while doing this. Combo of this and man coverage or a squat corner should help control itOS Red Zone

Tackle the RB.
You need to do your reads and anticipate the play when the situation calls for it. When I'm in that spot, I'll play strong side DE to rush the QB. But if the OL release for a screen I'm just going to hit the RB and you can flat out take him out right away.
If you let the play develop and leave it up to the AI (who cannot stop a screen of ANY kind on it's own, no matter the settings), then you're asking for it.
Do the dirty work yourself. Stop it before it starts.

Qb contain the DEs but they gotta have good play recognitionComment

Re: What's The Best Way To Stop HB Screens In Madden 25..?
Try to diagnose the play quickly. The biggest thing I notice is that on HB Screens the CPU quarterback will do a huge drop, such as 10 or 12 steps. The minute I see this I switch to a d-lineman to try to get to the HBComment

Get a defense that puts people out to the flats. Straight Cover 2 or 2 Man should help, but you really need to recognize it and change to the player closest to the screen. Assuming your DE hasn't gotten to deep into his rush you can usually change to him and make a diving tackle from behind.Comment

Re: What's The Best Way To Stop HB Screens In Madden 25..?
When I'm in man coverage I usually use the MLB that is covering the HB so if I see him block, it frees me to roam but If i see him go into a route I'll have him covered.
I have actually intercepted HB screens because I recognized the play fast enough and I was already user controlling the LB assigned to the HB in coverage.Comment
