EA Sports Announces Rising Star, Career Mode For NBA Live 14

You make it seem like them adding something like this is a bad thing? I'm just psyched that EA is coming out with a bball game again after three year, not need to start complaining about stuff now when we don't even have any details.

I want realism/authenticity...PERIOD!

Wow! EA is heading in the WRONG direction smh So you mean to tell me neither of these companies believe in the D-League, Draft Combine, or Summer League? What's up with these generic all star games that have nothing to do with the actual process of being drafted into the NBA? I don't get it...

I'm sure either EA or 2K will go down the draft combine, D-League or Summer League possibly in the next edition of their respective games. In regards to EA, i'd rather them bring out a couple of nice features like the Elite24 showcase etc & focus on the gameplay aspects more. New features/modes will come in due time!

I'm getting Live 14 regardless unless it is an absolute train-wreck. I'm tired of 2K and the same quirky issues that haven't been fixed for years. I'm sure Live will have issues, but they will be new to me.

But they've improved gameplay year over year. No use adding a bunch of features if they're not up there with the gameplay first.

Slacking really is the wrong word to use since things have improved each year.

what have they honestly improved in the my career mode? they've been taking steps back in gameplay imo(i would have responded earlier but my internet died friday -.-)

People do this all the time; they make a general statement about '2k sucks' or something like it and then you find out they mean one specific mode or feature. Generally 2k had definitely NOT been slacking and it's just a false statement all around. Every year the game has improved GENERALLY.

Gotta convince yourself that one game is evil to justify buying the other for no tangible good reason. It is what it is.

i just want competition this year. if 2k or any other company gets to make football i'm going to do the most i can to ensure it's somewhat decent we need more football games
