WWE 2K14 Video - Hulk Hogan vs. The Ultimate Warrior

Really tempted to not get it this year. Mania mode looks cool and they have a great roster in terms of legends but I don't wanna shill out 89.99 Aussie Dollars for a game that is still broken outside the main game mode like 13 was.

Hey man I played it at the Vegas Expo and I can at least say the 2 counts are fixed.

Gameplay, sadly for me Isn't the priority here.

Much like WWE 13 the gameplay wasn't good but reliving the Attitude Era moments gave me the nostalgia I needed.

Again this year the gameplay looks like it's been slightly tweaked (with the reversals getting the improvements it desperately needed), but it's gonna be reliving the nostalgic memories from growing up as a kid watching wrestling.

I do love the little things they've done like adding the warrior's yellow IC belt to the game, really looking forward to seeing whether or not any of the other titles (I.E. Sgt Slaughter's Purple winged eagle belt he had at WM VII).

Now all I need is some sort of ECW era mode, which I know will probably never happen but you can always dream....

Gameplay did seem more balanced and the matches built better during the time I played at the Vegas Expo. I've owned every WWF/WWE game since the original one on NES I can honestly say this seems like it could be the best one of this generation gameplay wise. I didn't get any info on Universe mode and that's the main thing for me outside of gameplay. Like Attitude Era, I will probably only play WM mode a few times

I'm a little underwhelmed by the gameplay, but I don't guess I was really expecting a complete overhaul in the last year of current gen. The reversals look less annoying for sure, but it just seems really stale seeing so many of the same old animations and transitions. Sliders can be adjusted to make the game more challenging, I'm not so concerned about that, so really if they just fix the 1-count glitch and polish up a few other things, I'll probably get the game regardless. Despite its flaws, I still loved last year's game and this appears to be an upgrade to that, especially with the WM mode looking so awesome. Just give us more CAW slots and you have me sold.

I'm really going to like WM Mode.

Nice touch having Hogan kick out right after the 3-count. Too bad Warrior didn't try that pin in the actual match

Not sure if I'll pick this one up or not. I really want to wait to hear about what they've done (if anything) to Universe mode since that's where I spend 99% of my time in the game.

May have been the only one, but I was pleased with the overall gameplay last year. Didn't blow me away, but I never thought it was "completely broken."

Now, with the two count bug fixed and what seems to be a sick roster, if there is just some way to increase CAW slots and make Universe a bit more realistic, it could be the best game of the series.
