Exactly. Just to play 2k14 on current-gen for a month. The best thing about buying both and not trading in is you still have both at the end of the day. I'm sure there are going to be features on current-gen (crew?) that won't be on next-gen this year. I'm buying only one though.

I'm never gonna buy twice the same game, especially those with a solid story mode (watchdog, ACIV)

How is this great news, your paying $60 one way or another actually $70. How can they afford to do this? I mean what if you don't like the next gen version can you trade it back? Something is fishy about this, how much does it cost to make these games where they can flip it for $10. Also if you like it on 360 why trade it for next gen. Not trying to cause controversy, I'm just not digging this. I'm buying one or the other not buy.

From what I've read elsewhere, Microsoft is pushing for this that's why you don't see PS4 there. I do believe PlayStation had something similar but without nba 2k14

If you don't want to do this then don't. It's pretty simple. For a person like myself I'm not going to get a Console until next yr, but when I do I don't want to keep the same game I have now. I would want to trade it in, but again this is me. Sounds like a good deal if you are just itching to play 2K.
