Hopefully we will be able to do some of this PnR stuff... and the defense will be able to adjust properly.

"NBA 2K games never previously had a good system for rotating off pick and rolls. This year the dev team met with an unnamed coach to create a rotation system that reacts differently if a player is driving either strong side or weak side and pays more attention to the roller. Now defense helps to the guy that's rolling, not to the ball. This should open up the drive and kick game."

LOL, that video just confirms that Coach Nick is the unnamed coach. I've been wanting 2K to use him for a minute. I've even tweeted the suggestion to him and posted a comment about it on one of his videos. This year's big push with the Association mode centers on re-tuning free agency. Visual Concepts reworked the player logic so they have a keener understanding of the market when deciding whether to re-up with their current franchise or test the waters in free agency. As a result, you should see many more players hitting the open market.

So 2k again went with the sexy move by implementing a flashy passing system instead of having the option to just choose what kind of pass you want to throw (bounce, lob, quick over the top or straight, for example).
Very disappointing association mode, nothing new really..funny how more players supposedly become free agents when I fact found that too many (star) players hit free agency and change teams.Comment

In My Player mode you can play through NBA team schedules for prizes that increase in value the further into the season you play.
Can someone go into depth what you think this means im maybe a little thrown off from this because in my mind im taking this as This is Mycareer with 2 people maybe a friend on your team or against you or whatever.#FreeMikeGSW

^^^^ I thought it said My Team you can play thriving schedule, not My Player...could be wrong.
Two thing I saw that jumped out at me:

The association mode has been touched at least. The free agency was a big issue, hopefully they fixed it. They didn't mention the D-League coming back though, sadly. And I would've liked to see the Summer League included too.

And also, I love the way the CPU actually reads and reacts on offense now. In the past, when you cut off the CPU's options, the play will break down and they'll literally just stand there and dribble until the shot clock runs down, which was disheartening.Sixers/Panthers/Tarheels

These additions/fixes sound good,then again ...
I just really, really hope that most if not all of that can be edited by us.
I mean, I want to be able to decide if a player is loyal or not, if he wants money over winning, starting over role, etc; need to be able to alter if a teams goes for having capspace for next FA or rather stack by trades; want to be able to decide if teams cover the ball handler or the roll man, to further distinct defenses; need to be able to alter how each team eases its injured players; want to edit coaches grades, staff payroll, players age, etc.
I specially hope that on next gen, customization and editing, receive exponential upgrades/additions, also that association receives even way more focus than the welcomed (yet not enough) attention it has received on current gen.
