Importing NCAA Football 14 Current-Gen Draft Class to Madden 25 Next-Gen Not Possible

EA Sports claimed it was working on a way for users to import their NCAA Football 14 draft classes into next-gen Madden NFL 25 at E3. Designer, Clint Oldenburg confirmed that you will be able to do it, via Twitter.

UPDATE: Madden Senior Game Designer, Josh Looman has stated the following in post #20.

Hey everyone. Just wanted to clear up some miscommunication out there.

Importing draft classes from NCAA Football 14 to Madden NFL 25 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will not be possible; however, we are continuing to look into this for the future.

Designer Clint Oldenburg also reached out to apologize for the confusion.

I didn't mean to mislead our community, so I just want to take responsibility for my error and clear it up.

I'm going to sticky this thread, so it can be seen by everyone, but I will not leave it open, because odds are... it would lead to a few banned users. If you have a problem with this, PM me. Otherwise, unless we hear otherwise from Josh or Clint, you will NOT be able to import current-gen draft classes to next-gen Madden NFL 25.

This is very good news in a storm of some negative M25 publicity lately. Very happy to see that draft classes will be cross platform. Bravo EA.

It is a case of good news/bad news.

The good news is fairly obvious.

To me though the bad news is that this probably means that fundamentally next gen Madden is not that different from what we have now. So if you're expecting a huge leap forward you are going to be disappointed.

This is a pretty sweet addition, but I"m not sure if it helps EA with M25 sales at this moment. This only incentivizes me to bypass the current-gen M25 so as to hold out for the next-gen version.
