*WARNING* Editing players position
Do not edit any player into a WR. If you do, that's it! They will be a WR forever. You cannot change a WR's position.Find out the Truth http://www.amazon.com/Secrets-Heaven...1163314&sr=1-1Tags: None -

Re: *WARNING* Editing players position
I thought, once you start a CFM, you can't edit any position. I restarted my CFM when I could not change Trent Cole and Brandon Graham back to DE from OLB (fortunately, I had not wasted much time or played any games before I saw this). Any position changes you want have to be done before starting your CFM (other than like switching OLB from R to L or RG to LG). It is a ridiculous limitation and so contrary to "what's in the game," that it staggers the mind.Comment

Re: *WARNING* Editing players position
This just isn't true at all. You cannot change positions during the season, but you can during the offseason (with the exception of WR's as mentioned above).I thought, once you start a CFM, you can't edit any position. I've done it multiple times already during my franchise.Comment

Re: *WARNING* Editing players position
This is in literally dozens of threads..
You can change most positions in the offseason
You can change limited positions in season (mostly left to right, strong to free)
OP is right, WR is a black hole you can never come back from once your CF starts. Likely to avoid greasy folks from playing WR's at TE to exploit LB man coverage.Comment

You're completely wrong.. Position changes can be done in CFM, during the off-season.I thought, once you start a CFM, you can't edit any position. Re: *WARNING* Editing players position
Question: I drafted a DT from Duke, a storyline guy that is way undersize (278) to play DT in my 3-4 so I wanted to move him to LE or RE but after I drafted him it would not let me change his position at all. Can you not change drafted players position?Comment

Re: *WARNING* Editing players position
Do it immediately after the draft, if you advance to preseason, you'll have to wait until the season is over.Comment

Re: *WARNING* Editing players position
Ok, I'm glad to be wrong. But, when you start your CFM, you are still in the offseason, no? Preseason has not yet started. Yet, it wouldn't let me change OLBs to DEs. I have not finished a season yet, so I was just going off what I experienced.Comment

Re: *WARNING* Editing players position
No doubt. That said, I'm noticing a lot of very big WRs this year. Plenty of 6'5" and 6'7" guys.
Yes. Moving a CB to FS can be a big upgrade. Equally, most FS get better then moving them to SS, but not the other way around.Comment

I posted this in the bug thread awhile ago.
Wanted to move 6'8 Shady Monroe to TE. Can't be done!Comment

Re: *WARNING* Editing players position
They had to do this to stop all big WRs being turned into monster TEs. The game would be ruined, especially online so it's not a glitch.Comment
