    retiring sooooo early...

in my first year, some noticeable retiree

    tom brady
    c. woodson
    steve smith
    richard seymore
    carson palmer
    Ed reed
    Dweight Freeney
    M Vick
    Peyton Manning

i mean i can understand a few but some of these guys just signed muliti year w/a new team. I saved right before the SB and ran again the offseason to see if retiring changes but it does not, maybe its calculated at some point in the mid season.....anyone else having too many key players retiring soon??

Alot of them will come out of retirement. I too saw Brees retire in 2014. He came back a year later. Ray Lewis always does as well.

Really? Oh wow. So my favourite player is set to retire after one season despite signing a 5 year contract? EA really need to fix this. Hopefully it won't be a problem on next gen.

Brees has retired early in both Madden 12 and 13 so I'm semi annoyed he does again in M25.

I've just had Richard Seymour retire thou this isn't surprising.

In my franchise Brees is still with the saints and he resigned for another year. I think I'm 5 years in now. He usually goes quick even in M13, but he's stuck around this time.

With the poor sim stats and repeating draft classes, this is another CFM killer... who wants to play in a league where half the stars are gone after 2 years.

I don't find it to be that unrealistic. All of those are players are in their late 30s. Reed,Seymore, Freeney all contemplated retirement at some point after last season. Woodson couldn't get the job he wanted. . Once you fire up a CFM you are no longer in the "real world" NFL The events moving forward will be random.

I hope that's not intentional, because that would annoy the hell out of me.

People who don't care about just stars and want to build their own franchise and stories instead of just "Brady and Manning duking it out to face Drew Brees in the SB!".

I don't mind Brady retiring and the team having to draft AJ McCarron to try and rebuild a team

People who don't want to see just Andre Johnson catch balls from Matt Schaub will enjoy it blah blah blah.

This is why I buy sports games about 2 months after they are released though. Like NBA 2K the game doesn't really get fixed 'til Christmas. Hopefully they can remedy some of these issues.
