It's not bold to say I won't make playoffs, I'm going to be on autopilot for about 1/3 of the first season.

It's Rodgers.

It don't matter tho, Madden has made the game to where even the brokest of QBs can perform at high levels such as Aaron Corp that D11 ran with last year. In my offline Franchise, Rodgers went down week 1 and I dominated with BJ Coleman. I'd don't matter, plain and simple. If I had it my way, sliders would be set so defenses had more of an advantage and QB's actually performed like they do in real life instead of scrubs like Tannehill being able to perform like Rodgers and Ryan and Manning every week.

Last year the offensive sliders were turned down really, really far so that only the good QBs would shine. D11 used Corp as a game manager and used him to his strengths.

Week 2:

Rams vs Falcons

St Louis started the season off with a tough loss to the Cardinals. Their offense sputtered against a tough Arizona defense and Bradford was tackled behind the LOS four times; this won’t do against the Falcons. The Falcons offense is capable of playing with anyone so the Rams will need to score more than 10 points to win. I think they will, but Matt Ryan and company will be too much this week as Atlanta wins their home opener.

Dolphins vs Colts

Andrew Luck lit up the Raiders defense for 5 touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough. Nobody’s perfect and I’ll think JD and the Colts will bounce back from this set back and make it to the playoffs. Their defense did not hold up very well against the Oakland offense as Terrell Pryor beat them in the air and on the ground. Wirick was able to escape Cleveland with a victory, but because they didn’t dominate the Browns like I expected them to, I’ll pick the Colts to win this one.

Lions vs Cardinals

Both teams won their opening games with one of the winning as I expected them to (Arizona) and one did it in a surprise win over the Vikings (Detroit). Arizona won with their defense against St Louis but a little more offense would be helpful. Matt Stafford lit up the Vikings defense and scored a perfect QB rating in the process. I don’t think Cutthroat can repeat that feat, but they’ll win this over the Cardinals in a nail biter.

49ers vs Seahawks

Two of the best Madden teams in the game; I wouldn’t put these two owners at the top of the league in that respect, but they can compete. Dew and the Niners struggled to beat the CPU Packers 14-6 and Tower and the Seahawks lost my Panthers 36-24. Based on these results and the fact that I’m a Seahawks fan, I have to pick Seattle this week. They better win on the fans will be calling for a change real soon….

Steelers vs Bengals

This game is on my radar only because it’s the AFC North. Both guys will talk trash during the game, but neither one will every see this write up. So I can confidently say that neither team will win the AFC North at any point during the SFL, but I’ll go with Pittsburgh to win this one.

It doesn’t sound like I’m giving the Saints any chance to win, but Adelfish is a better player the league gives him credit for. The Saints passing attack will be tough to stop with Drew Brees leading the way and I’m expecting this game to be a shootout.
