opinions on which one to build my custom roster off of?

I've heard Scott Hanan and Grant Clitsome are missing from one, but I"m not sure which one

roster update 1 is the better... for example it already have scott hannan, and vincent lecavalier is in philly

I'm checking between them. Seems like default roster has Orebeo (SHL) using lots of players that played on Timra while the update one has the whole SHL and I believe most of the euro leagues updated, but players are missing from the default. (Yared Hagos is one I've seen so far, not a big name but still a player with picture and currently playing for Kolner so he should still be in the game) Joni Ortio (Abbotsford goaltender) was on HIFK but gone missing in the update as well.

So it's a tough call. Default - more work, Updated version - less work, lots of new players/missed players.....

EDIT: Hannan is missing from the default... no idea why as he never left the Sharks, Clitsome is missing in the update but in FA on the default..... Ehhh... that's messed up!

EDIT #2: Tried the Pre-draft, no luck. Hannan's out, Clitsome's in. It's either Hannan or Clitsome and Gill pretty much, plus whoever's missing in whichever roster.

Hal Gill is missing in Update #1. Working with EA rosters is frustrating, but they have legal obligations so I just deal with it.

Oh boy oh boy! Legal? Hal Gill could have gone to Free Agents at least instead of getting rid of him completely. Clitsome... well.. he plays for Winnipeg and he never left so that's no excuse, could have just left him in FA or add him back to the Jets!

Other thing is if you're into SHL, Orebeo and Leksand is updated in the updated roster (they had Timra and Rogle rosters instead of their own as default) Same goes for Schwihoweveryouspellthis team in DEL (replacement of Hannover)

Lol almost like they switched place as they're both in Calgary's system, Ramo probably will play in Calgary this year while Ortio plays in Abbotsford

Aww that sucks, Nathan Moon is also gone from the update. My wife works with his dad so I've seen him around quite a bit but never actually met Nathan, saw him play once against our Belleville Bulls, with Doug Gilmour as his coach. I know it doesn't matter to most of you that he's not in there now as he's playing in England.

Anybody else working their rosters with the default roster.....

I DID notice the Scott Hannan and Karri Ramo were missing but I also noticed Peter Regin, Chris Conner, and David Ullstrom seem to missing too? Unless somebody found them in a weird place....

In working with the default rosters, I've noticed that some player salaries are not correct. For instance, on the Islanders Bailey, Hamonic, and Clutterbuck all got new contracts with muliple years this off-season. In the default roster this is not the case.

I've checked some other teams (mostly metro division, because I know them better) and yes there are some errors. That being said, the first roster update fixed most of these. (not all, IDK why)

I was going to follow Petr Pucks work but if I build off the default rosters there will be other problems. So now I'm just going to wait and see what the best option will be.
