So tired of people quitting..
They should make a penalty or reward you with bonus coins for not quitting or something. What's the point of quitting down 7-0 in the first quarter.Tags: None -

Free country, man.
I quit on folks, not going to lie. If you don't play straight up, I'll disconnect.
If I stop you on 3rd down in the First Quarter and you go for it, I'll quit. I'd simply rather not play against someone who'll BS the whole game. Drains the fun out of it. -

You get the win, pretty sure you don't get coins though. But hey, people quitting still helps towards getting into the playoffs though so I'll take itComment

Re: So tired of people quitting..
I agree with you about the BS but I swear I beat 75% of the people that don't punt when they should. It ticks me off but they usually get what they deserve. I enjoy your posts on here crow and have learned a few things. Mind if I add you on PSN?Free country, man.

No way, man. Please do. PSN crowhop78
It's been a while since I've played head-to-head to tell the truth. Between the scrambling Vick's, milking clock, not punting and three minute quarters, I just couldn't take it anymore.
Apparently I'm fantasic on Defense the first three downs. So at least there's that. But I had too many dudes convert miracle crap on 4th and 15. I like my controllers, but playing head to head makes me want to drop them on the floor very hard and dunk them in the toilet.Comment

As far as statement #2 that is exactly me too. Great defense on the first three downs and then they'll throw a bomb through my defender and convert. I did win a championship this morning because i was playing a non punter. 21-14 in the second quarter and its 4th and 14 and this guy is on his own 7 and goes for it. Moron. I stop him then he quits despite me not being able to stop his offense prior to that drive. I'll try to add you today.Comment

Re: So tired of people quitting..
I gave it a go again. Three games.
Game one. Playing against an overmatched team, I didn't really have to play too well to win. He threw me two pick 6's. On the last one, he quit. The new Mathieu sealed the Victory. Got no coins despite "winning" 24-7.
Second game. Very similar to the first in that it was against an overmatched team, but I played well and got up 14-0 really quick. He threw a pick 6 on a HB Screen pass to Mathieu and he quit. Got 889 coins for that one.
Third game. Against a guy with a few Moss' and Vick running around. I get the ball first and move it down the field and score 7. He struggled his first drive and I forced 4th down and long in my territory, but, of course, he goes for it. Didn't get it and I march down and score again. 14-0.
He does better next time running no-huddle 5-Wide running the same pass play every time and completing it at will. He gets a TD. Lines up for the XP and fakes it. And gets it. 14-8.
I get the ball and drive down to kick a FG just before half leaving him 20ish seconds. 17-8.
He gets the ball and drives 60 yards in 2 plays and kicks a long FG to make it 17-11. Once again using the same play.
And right as the whistle blew to end the half I said to myself "you know, this isn't fun". And quit. I was winning and in fine position to win the game, but the opponent took the joy of actually playing good competition out of it for me.
I just wish I could play someone like SEANCANES44 over and over and over.Comment

Re: So tired of people quitting..
In case you're wondering, SEANCanes beat me in a great game. Probably the best player I've come across. He is a great player. Hard to stop, probably nearly impossible to beat. But it was a lot of fun trying. Unlike most of these clowns.Comment

Re: So tired of people quitting..
I also hate quitters and honestly I dont care if they run the same play again and again I havent found one I couldnt stop yet after a drive. I also used to hate people who go for it on 4th down but since Ive gotten so much better I just chalk those people up as easy wins and sure enough they are.
you quit on me no matter the circumstances I send you a message berating and belittling your character for quitting early.
you stick it out and finish the game out as a loss I send you a nice message with a few tips that i noticed you could use in the game.
me I always stat my game off with a GL and HF message to my opp. so i always try to stat it out on the right foot lots of people are really pathetic sore losers out there though and they have an excuse as to why it was ok to quit everytime...
Ive never quit early and dont plan on it. I think its poor sportsmanship and kinda pathetic to be honest. dont like that people go for it on 4th everytime? then stop them and show em why its strategically smart to punt. my last 15 games only 1 person scored over 3 scores on me. so defense is possible. dont makes excuses and leave early just go out and stop them. if they use the same play just play the pass and key that WR GG then.Comment

Re: So tired of people quitting..
I have probably had 15+ people quit on me (Record is 25-3). I always try and end it as quickly as possible too if I'm up. I don't get why they don't want the coins. In my 3 losses I sucked it up and took the loss to two of the guys because they handled me. The other guy was constantly going for it on 4th down in the 4th Quarter and was up by two scores. When he scored to make it a 3 score game and lined up to go for two I pulled the plug. I had no problem losing to someone who was better than me that day but when I throw up the white flag, handle it accordingly.Comment

Re: So tired of people quitting..
i beat someone yesterday by 17 i think and sent them a nice note afterwards saying they would actually be a tough opponent if they learned how to punt and kick fg's. funny thing is he responded by saying he doesn't because it lags on him. Funny thing is he kicks extra points and his first possession ended when i stopped him on 4 downs when he could have easily kicked a fg that was 5 yds. longer than an extra point. whatever.Comment
