    NCAA14 Draft Import

I thought I remember something about a couple stats being busted or blank when importing over to Madden. Couldn't find anything about it in a couple searches.

Do they make that much difference in the play, once drafted?
Better do the default Madden drafts?
How bad is the repeating drafts? So far only doing offline CFMs.

Only weird thing I saw when I did mine was that every single rookie drafted had an 80-something in one of the categories that wasn't too huge like speed and whatnot. Other than that they've been fairly normal. Teddy Bridgewater drafted to take over the new Oakland squad in San Antonio, DeAnthony Thomas being the main running back in Indy at second overall. Cards drafting a LT to bolster their line.

So only downside of importing would be that there are no story lines?

Those just for trying to get immersed into the game?

Pretty much. No storylines. Although for me having 0 storylines isn't much worse than having 3 or 4 guys at most. I like the realism this second year brought me with guys who are actually going to be in the NFL. Creates its own storylines (eg. Raiders relocated after year one, drafted Tahj Boyd at QB, Tahj is now in running for MVP and has the Raiders at 7-2 in the league). Now while those real rookies play, I have the storyline guys who need their own back story because I would obviously know nothing of their NCAA years

Speed is an issue. I don't recall drafting anyone with speed over 90. I haven't drafted De'Anthony Thomas yet but I believe his speed isn't that great either

So I either deal with no speed or repeating draft classes and having to reload every year?

Thomas came out with 94 speed and 94 accel in mine. Not bad.. However everytime I'm importing now my whole class sucks! Not one good impact rookie the best overall was 75

So what if you were to rotate each year? First year bring in the NCAA draft with the names you know, then the next year use stock Madden, then the next year go back to NCAA. Rinse and repeat.

I have rookies reappearing in multiple draft classes. I had Manziel in my 14 & 15 classes.
