You must not have played the real crew mode or blacktop in 2k13. 2k11 crew was never a three fest because even with green releases you'd still miss wide open threes in particular. Blacktop in 2k13 was the 99 overall drifting three cheese fest.

If you didnt play good defense. If my hands were up they had less of a chance to make it. Maybe i was the lucky one to have that. And superstar sim is much different from blacktop, so theres a chance these games are longer than blacktops causal settings.

After being mad as hell for like 30 minutes after seeing these changes, I'm like F it...this was never the reason I got NBA2k games. Of course it would have been amazing to have a working Crew mode from 2k11 but I'm not sweating it, I see myself playing this mode a lot regardless.

I'm optimistic it'll be right on next gen, either way 2k gameplay has always been fun so 1 mode is not going to deter me from getting the game like some of these other guys (smh). Voice opinions but don't sht on the game because of 1 mode, come on where were you before it?.

Great point. Yeah I'm not happy with 5v5, but it was never the reason why I would drop $60 on the game.

No 2K11 style crew mode is not a deal-breaker alone but it would have made the game infinitely playable. Without it MyPlayer/MyCareer gets stale real fast (few people actually stick with that mode through multiple seasons) and I don't see how blacktop crew won't get old real fast. I don't find it exciting to average 5 points a game with 2 rebounds.

Combine that with a general lack of responsiveness and follow-through on 2K's part the last few years and it just feels like another let-down.

I don't have a ton of time to play video games and 2K is usually the only game I play, but with the next-gen systems coming out and other really great games being released, I think a lot of people will rethink what game they want to invest their time in if 2K keeps failing to fulfill the expectations they have created.

This guy can'be real. Gotta be a NBA LIVE hyper. It just joking. I'm getting live too but fam, your bugging. It's one mode & needling it real, you care that much to not be able to play long games with friends online. Cmon ppl. Everyone loves the gameplay, I think live is gonna be HOT. You forget like I said before- they have OG SPORTS AS THE GAMEPLAY DESIGNER. 2K IS scared, they're releasing all if this footage to make sakes on current gen but them and everyone else is waiting for that 5on5 Live footage. Don't lie to yourself. 2k looks ugly every year. 2k hoops court is small and players are big. You can dunk inside an animation from the same spot errytime. Same thing with the NBA game. The editing is the best thing they have. 2k gives the user almost 100% control once the game is bought. That alone is why I'd decide over live. Gameplay is good. They mastered that. But all of this fuss over one mode that isn't a full game, shows how friggin spoiled cats are. 2k is gonna look better on the next gen, so what more can you ask for. Live is gonna compete big time, but don't fake like this mode is gonna cause you to jump to live. Please. Yall cats been waiting for live to get better.

Lol. All in all I bet they all fall Short. Why. Mainly bcuz it's a game and humans make em. Just enjoy what you get or go to school and learn how to develop.

you know whats funny? I truly believe the only reason the mode isnt back the way gamers want it (i could careless for the mode. I dont want an MMO basketball game. Theres already a game for that) is because the same gamers clamoring and mad are the same gamers who hack and break the game. Just like they did in 2k11. Same gamers who cheat and capitalize on the VC glitch. This is what happens when people cheat fellas. Reprocussions for the actions of others that ruin it for everyone. Because if the game mode integrity wasnt wrecked in 2k11 the stupid mode would be here and all yall would be happy. Dont be mad at the devs be mad at your fellow gamers guys.

2k never blamed hacks for cutting crew they said other bs like recoding game etc

I don't know. But one of their main reasons was hacked players. Seen it around the time 2K12 released and they were talking about it.

if you go back, one of the reasons is because it was being hacked,. compromising the integrity of the game... and who's doing that? it aint the devs. so be happy you got some form. i'd rather it be cut out completely.
