NBA 2k12 02 Kings and 91 Warriors

Anybody know if there is anyway I can get these teams for the PS3? I know it's old but the real Webber isn't on 2k13 and probably not 14. Also 2k share doesn't work anymore and I don't think we can share roster files.

I have Webber on my 2K13 roster. A lot of us probably do, inputting his ratings from 2K12 in a roster editor and applying his cyber face.

Maybe. There was a special code and the 2k12 servers had to be up to use it. The teams are unlocked in the 2k12 "Settings" file. By using the PS3 Xploder software, I think I could "copy" my settings to another user who could then use the modified settings file to unlock the teams.

The simple answer is probably not. There was a special code and the 2k12 servers had to be up to use it. Although, I think there is a remote possibility that you could use the PS3 Xploder software to do this. If you want to give it a shot, PM me and we we'll coordinate.

I might be wrong Doc, but are those teams on 2K12 if he buys it now? I thought I read about a 2K12 edition that came out later in the year, and people were complaining that edition had things that other people could only get via pre-ordering, like those two teams. Like I said, I could be wrong but I thought 2K included them on a disc later and maybe Best Buy sold it.

The Game of the Year Edition was issued by Best Buy. That game came with the legends showcase DLC on the disc. The 2 extra teams did not come with it -- you had to have a pre-order code.

But as mentioned, even if you find a code, you can no longer use it because 2k servers for 2k12 are no longer up. HOWEVER, I just got 2 extra PS3s (I already have 2) for an upcoming video game party and was able to copy my 2k12 PS3 data over to those PS3s. Interestingly, I automatically got the 2 extra teams (which I had on my 2 other other PS3s). Accordingly, I think I may be able to use the PS3 Xploder program to change my data to another user's data and then they could use that data and they would have those 2 teams. As mentioned above, the "Settings" file is the one that seems to be the key file. Similarly, I think you might be able to use PS3 Xploder to modify the profile and home data files to unlock all of the historic teams without having to play them.
