Re: Madden 25 CFM Realistic Sliders
Just played the 49ers in my dynasty and they shut down my run game hard. This shows how my sliders can make the CPU defense show up. Plus I lost the game 38-24.Comment

Doesn't Custom Difficulty just mean that you have custom sliders? I thought the default difficulty only affected the kicking meter.---------------------------------------------------------------------

When doing coach mode, make sure the human offensive sliders are set to the CPU set.COACH MODE Jets 31 Steelers 0 i was the Jets Smith 9-18-102, Rushing Powell 20-138-1TD, Ivory 15-68-2TD, Green 3-6, Goodson 2-7, Smith 2-15, Bohanon 1-1-1TD, Receiving Cumberland 3-35, Kerley 2-34, Hill 1-18, Jets D 1 SACK 3 INT, 2 of the INT were from Gradkowski Big Ben got knocked out in the 4th QTR, Steelers Big Ben 16-36-132-1INT, Gradkowski 1-3-6-2INT, Rushing Redman 11-32, Jones 1-5, Big Ben 1-20, Receiving Brown 5-45, Speath 3-25, Sanders 2-24, Cotchery 3-13, Steelers D 2 Sacks Total Plays 117Comment

Re: Madden 25 CFM Realistic Sliders
Jaymee... I eventually lowered Run Block to 0 and now your sliders play like a charm. I picked the Jags in my CFM (going to relocate) and lost 23-20 in OT to the Chiefs. Could only muster 79 rushing yards. Tebow (as my QB) went 28-44 for 259 with a TD and a game-turning INT in overtime. Alex Smith 25-46 for 263 and TD, Jamaal Charles 21 carries 63 yds and TD.
So thanks again, great slider set.KB's All-CAW Universe

Only 3 yards per carry for Jamaal seems low. Are you sure 0 is the way to go?Jaymee... I eventually lowered Run Block to 0 and now your sliders play like a charm. Re: Madden 25 CFM Realistic Sliders
I only lowered Run Block for player skill. Didn't think it would affect CPU play. Also, I've noticed that the CPU RB's don't hit the right hole very often. They often "fade" off-tackle into the defenders when the hole is a cut-up inside. A lot of Jamaal's runs for no gain or negative were when he went off-tackle but his lead blockers went inside.
It was very tough for me to run, which I was hoping for. I gutted the Jags due to trades and had Dwyer starting at RB for an injured Forsett. No way he should be ripping off big runs and finishing with 100+ yds (which happened during the preseason games with Run Block at 25, then 20, etc.)
When I get a chance to play Week 2 vs Indy, I'll repost and let you know.KB's All-CAW Universe

Re: Madden 25 CFM Realistic Sliders
Hi,
I saw your sliders (downloaded yesterday, the numbers are slightly different than what is posted) and since your play-style is similar to mine, I decided to give them a try. I figured something was wrong with default madden settings at all-pro skill level if I could take the Browns to 14-2 and win the superbowl in my first CFM season, lol.
I did make some modifications, and I'm not sure if they are skewing things a bit. It is also the first time I'm playing All-Madden skill level. These are the changes I made:
-I changed it to 12 min quarters with 18s clock because I previously determined that gets me ~60-70 plays per game. I don't like the 11s play clock because it doesn't give me time to analyze the defensive set.
-I changed it from normal to slow speed. I feel slow is more realistic in general and more playable for me, despite the bug with running backs.
-I upped the player QB accuracy to 25. At 5, Brandon Weeden was just making some ridiculously bad passes to wide-open receivers that could not be excused as pass while on the run. Like being wide-right by 10 yards on a stationary, open receiver while passing from the pocket. At 25 rating, I'm getting completion percentage of ~ 56% with him. He's not a great QB, so I imagine this is about right.
- I lowered fumbling by 5 ticks. I was fumbling twice per game and it seemed a tad too much.
- I lowered CPU run-blocking by 5 ticks. Granted, it's Adrian Peterson, but he racked up 140 rushing yards and 3 TDs on me. The Browns have an excellent front 7, and in the real season they held Peterson to ~80 yards.
I'm probably not done tweaking, but this set overall does feel more realistic to me. The only other thing that seems like I need to adjust is player run blocking: I've racked up 200 rushing yards with Trent Richardson in two consecutive games.
I do have some questions, being new to sliders in general. So far, I've been making changes out of CFM and then importing them every time, because that seems to be what people here do. Is there any reason for this, or can I start tweaking from inside CFM? Also, with auto-subs, I followed your instructions by adjusting them outside of CFM, then going to CFM, and hitting reset. Does this set the auto-subs to the settings outside CFM? It isn't clear to me, since the settings inside the CFM just all stay at 50.
I am seeing a bit more substitution on D-line, but it still seems like Trent Richardson is subbed for just one or two plays per game.
Anyway, thanks for all your hard work. I would post results of my games but I don't know how to do that easily without manually typing them in.Comment

Re: Madden 25 CFM Realistic Sliders
During the tweaking phase you have to load from outside CFM.
You did auto sub correctly with it showing everything at 50. I use formation subs to sub out the HB. I like auto subs for use with CPU team.
Keep working at it. I think with you adjusting your offensive play based on what you see on defense, it's going in favor of your run game. I use Trent on the Colts and barely ever run for 100 yards.Comment

Re: Madden 25 CFM Realistic Sliders
ok, maybe I am crazy, but your sliders on page one show a "pre patch" version, and a "post patch" version...
When was there a patch? and if there was a patch, why is it not offering it to me

Re: Madden 25 CFM Realistic Sliders
The patch was a day one patch. I had the season ticket version so I created sliders for before the patch came out.Comment

You are setting them backwards. Look at the words in and out rather than what comes first.Comment
