Florida vs Arkansas should be a fun one for both teams.

I think Florida's defense again is to strong for Arkansas. If Florida's offense keeps getting better I think we win by at least 10 or more.

Gonna be a ground and pound game.

Washington-Stanford is my must-see game. Even at 15, I think Washington is underrated.

Hopefully Arizona State beats Notre Dame.

Lucky for me, the Texas Tech game starts at ****ING 11 A.M. so I should get home in time to catch some of the marquee games.

I never thoughts I'd view Washington-Stanford as a marquee game.

And Colorado week—my favorite.

interesting comment from the AFA that they may not be able to go to Navy because of the upperclassmen being designated as military personnel which would put them in the crosshairs of the government shutdown's travel restrictions on its employees. Average government shutdown is 6 days, so either this will have to be a below average one or someone will have to come to their senses and just let them go play their game.

The Department of Defense announced that all service academies' intercollegiate athletic competitions are suspended. Sigh....

Maryland-Florida State should be dope. I want Northwestern-OSU to be, but it very possibly won't be. Cool thing about being a PAC-12 fan in the CST is that I get a day loaded with football down to the end. I think Stanford-UW is going to be a terrific game.

As my random thoughts on the week go: as an ardent USC fan, I'm not particularly happy about the firing of Kiffin. I thought it needed to be done, but firing him in the middle of the season and giving Orgeron the interim job has the capacity for all kinds of disaster. Most interim coaches are not Dabo Swinney. And I hope Haden doesn't try and force Kiffin's eventual long-term successor to holdover any of the current staff. That choice should be made by the coach, like with Urban Meyer retaining Luke Fickell. It happens when it needs to.

This has, and probably will continue to be, a long season for the Trojans. I'm glad we don't play Stanford or Oregon this year, but it wouldn't surprise me if we didn't go bowling, much as that pains me to say. 6-6 shouldn't be out of the question by any stretch, especially with the team's talent level. The playcalling and execution have left quite a bit to be desired, but I suppose that's why the change was made. Ed Orgeron was 10-25 at Ole Miss. I'm just not ecstatic about his long-term prospects.

It wouldn't suprise me to see UT keep this game close actually. They have been known to play georgia well even when they should be blown out.
