Nice catch and I was just about to give the game credit for how alive the crowds look in that clip. Hopefully more crowd diversity is an easy fix considering they are touting sharing the same animations/assets for all Ignite Engine games.

    Also interested about this part

"Combined with high-fidelity animations that deliver the smoothest, most authentic looking player interactions ever, Madden NFL 25 delivers stunning visuals."

in concert with the improved AI touted.

Now that I got some constructive optimism out the way, like someone else noted, it's unfortunate after all that talk of "living worlds", there now seems to be some backtracking for interactive sidelines potentially not being fully implemented this year. I could have sworn this was a heavily touted feature not too long ago, mentioning things like the sidelines catching/helping teammates and moving out the way for opponents. It's just window dressing anyway but kind of odd to emphasize something like that, then it not be ready this year.

I'll hold my peace on the other elements until they are released, especially considering the broadcast capability built into the new consoles will make it near impossible to hide game play after release. I keep thinking back to that interview where Ian Cummings stated he goes into instant replay constantly in current M25 to see what happened and anyone with a new console can finally share that kind of breakdown with the masses, without extra equipment. I constantly hype the broadcast capability of the new consoles because I truly believe it will put the onus on games to have far more polish when released.

Some of these complaints are laughable. I guess folks wanted holograms for the graphics. Then we have folks saying Madden sucked this entire gen, and then act disappointed with the new trailer. I guess I'm in the minority cause I loved what I saw. Bengals stadium looked crazy

Fifa showed at the Germany show BECAUSE it has a huge market in Europe. If Madden did, they'd be there too I can assure you that. Marketing for these game is extremely calculated and it's not simply tied to confidence in their game and which one they think is good. Fifa is obviously going to be first on the docket for them. Its their #1 game. Madden going to Germany is throwing money away.
Ah, the irony of your statement. I don't care about the profit margin, in this instance. My viewpoint is that of a gamer. I could care less about how profitable either title is. I care about how fun and rewarding a gaming experience it is. When I go to work, different story. And you have brought into focus what ills the industry at large. FIFA is fun, and becoming more profitable by the iteration Madden is on the decline. Maybe because it's not considered either fun or top tier anymore. Seems Tiburons marketing is spending more than ever and trying harder than ever to polish Petunia. Doesn't seem to be helping the eroding sales, does it?

P.S. I must disagree with your oversimplification that FIFA simply sells more because of a larger geographic audience. It sells in that larger market because it is a better game. When it was chasing PES in quality, it wasn't the monster seller it is now. It was much like madden, relying on licenses and authenticity. Option files made that a mute point. FIFA sells like hotcakes due to EAC spending the money and time to build a great game.....

        Note to Tiburon Marketing:

A great product sells itself, no "back of the box" features required! (See Fifa...)

At least wait for the info to come out before you bash it. Also, if you have zero hope that they might do it right this time around, why the heck are you even here? You clearly arent here to comment on the trailer
This could be the greatest game since sliced bread, and I'm in no way saying it will be, and you would still get this attitude from the vocal ***** group which will NEVER be satisfied as long as EA holds the license. They throw their temper tantrums like spoiled children. It's entertainment in it's own right.

Not too bad at the moment FIFA still looks like the only sports game I will buy for either the PS4 or the One when I get one. At least for the first year.
            Curently Playing:
On PS3- Old PS1 RPGs (Xenogears, FF 7 and 9, FF Tactics)
On PC: PUBG And Heroes of the Storm
I occasionally stream on twitch at twitch.tv/tcfclemson

You're not getting my point. You mentioned that Fifa is out there for the masses to see and suggested that it's not trying to hide anything because the current gen games have been great(which they have). And I'm simply telling you that the only reason it's out there moreso than Madden right now is because it has a much wider fanbase. It has nothing to do with which game they think will be more fun than the other. Fifa having more footage out there means nothing in terms of which game is projected to be better on next gen. The only, and I mean only reason next gen Fifa is more accessible right now is because its their #1 game and thats only because the sport of soccer/futbol is the most popular worldwide(maybe Cricket).

With Ignite, all of the games are sharing the same technology as well. So its not going to be a case where 1 game gets the better crowds or another gets the better renderings. Marketing? Sure, they'll push out info for the most popular games first(FIFA), but building the games should be pretty even in terms of resources.

                This

Some people, no matter how life like and fantastic Madden is, will hate it simply because EA has the rights. They are literally blind folded by hate. But whats funny is that if the "2K" logo was slapped on every piece of Madden next gen footage, they'd eat it all up.

Look, anyone expecting a miracle Madden 25 next gen is fooling themselves. It'l be a souped up Madden 25 current gen. EA needs time to fully utilize the next gen platform. It is like this with every new release.

It'll be a good game, and yes I feel Madden 25 current gen is good. Like everyone else, lets see what EA can do with a new gen on the playability side.

Here's hoping for blocked kicks and the occasional DPI!!!

I admit a few hours ago I bitched and moaned when I saw that so called Next Gen trailer. But after now seeing the "real" Next Gen Madden 25 trailer I am once again excited for the future of Madden. I think Madden 25 on Next Gen will be the start of something special.

Echoed. I kept hearing people say they didn't get a full dev cycle with next gen madden, so the 2nd year is when I will REALLY expect the best football gaming experience ever.

The trailer looks amazing. It was the first trailer that focused on the most obvious improvements which was graphics. Honestly ppl are underwhelmed? When have u ever seen individual sweat beads on a player. Lighting on the skin? The reflection of the stadium in on the players helmet? The players helmet being an independent property? The gameplay trailers will follow. Seriously who clicks on a graphics trailer and complains it only covers graphics? Lol

Ppl on this site swear that because they didn't like Madden it's been a failure. News flash millions of ppl love this game and buy it year in and year out. Some of you guys are just EA haters. U won't admit that you are haters, you say ur being objective but you have an obvious bias. Which is fine everyone is is entitled to their opinion. But why spend so much time trying to convince ppl they don't like it. Or critize them because they are impressed and you are not?

Strange how much better next-gen helmets look compared to M25 current gen and M13. But, if I recall correctly, M12 helmets and uniforms where pretty nice looking. M12 had the shine and sparkle to the helmets as well.I think Ea sports has purposely dumb-down the graphics to make next gen stand out even more. Now, lets see how the AI plays in next gen.

C'mon guys, this was a presentation trailer. Of course the focus of the video would be graphics.

I love football but this makes me disappointed a little bit. I didn't care about or expect a huge leap in graphics Madden always had good graphics with minor gripes here or there. I did expect big jumps in player movement and presentation. I wanted it to almost dwarf the old iterations in movement and presentation but from the tidbits we've gotten so far it looks like current gen with a prettier dress and lipstick. I was wowed by nba 2k trailer it is visually a big jump and you know the movement and the little things are gonna be there by their track record. I have a sliver of faith that I'm gonna be proven wrong about this game but I'm not holding my breathe. It seems ea is content with being marginally above mediocre. Maybe football movement is harder than it seems to implement in a game.

Hopefully atleast the chess match part of football will happened with all this extra processing power and pc type cpu's
