Ok, NBA 2k has been my favorite sports title since the original 2k dropped back in 99' on Dreamcast. Some of you young bucks dont know bout that, but I digress. There has been one thing among a few other that have been on my biggest pet peeves list for a while now and they have finally remedied the situation.
FINALLY THEY HAVE GOTTEN RID OF PLAYERS WEARING THOSE GOD AWFUL GENERIC 2K SHOES.
Thank you Jesus. Now before you flame me with being so nit picky, let me explain. Yes the franchise has been far from perfect. Anywhere from cheesy spin moves, shot stick timing way off, players spamming the paint, lead pass, wonky online association and the list can go on and on. But putting some game play issues aside, the one thing that erked the living hell outta me was to see atleast 5 people on the court at a time wearing those GD 2k generic shoes that looked like they came straight from K-mart blue light special. $29.99. You never ever ever ever see ANY player in the league wearing non name brand sneakers. yes I understand about licensing issues and such, that you cant have kobe in Adidas or LeBron in Reebok. I get it, but there was no reason that you couldnt have a player without a shoe deal, wear Nike, Addidas or Reebox shoes and not 2k generics. Finally, it seems like every player is wearing some sort of name brand sneaker. Ive played about 5 games online and have not seen anyone wearing 2k generics. Thank you 2k!!. lol, it may be small but sometimes its the minor things. Ok, rant over.
