The reason I've posted that picture is because we hear that excuse every year. "Ahhh... don't worry about that 200 pound RB blocking that 320 pound DE... They're showing it on rookie mode so we can view the blades of grass easier".

Once the retail version comes out those same issues are still in the game.

Exactly, "Force Impact" in current gen M25 retail has players like Devin Hester and Percy Harvin knocking defenders backwards, off their feet, which was pointed out in early videos, with similar responses from some about lower difficulty levels. smh.

I couldn't care less what they do to the graphics. XBox/PS3 are still fine for me, this doesn't look like that big a jump.

What I'd like is a CFM that works. No repeating draft class, no white sleeve glitch, player name editing, player progression that makes sense, better draft classes, better CPU logic, etc.......

I'm certain XBoxOne and PS4's CFM will be just as glitchy as it is now.

their core game foundation is just rotted and broken. Like all EA games... every player in the game is capable of doing every animation. This includes blocking, catching...etc. That is one thing.. but combined with poor animations.. and a limited amount. It ends up looking like garbage.

Surely this is an early build...but no women in the stands? Aside from that, I just don't think the models themselves look very good. However, if they animate and react like this, I'll be happy:

I don't belive for one moment that the MNF was NG it couldn't have been it looked no different then CG nothing. Like most of you I have gotten sick of madden not getting to where is should be but even then graphics of course are going to look better and even if that video was not uploaded right I would think the graphics would look better and they don't they look 100 % CG. I have been very dissapoted in madden this gen madden this gen was a wast. I want madden to get back to greatness like it was on ps2 days when it was the best sports game out there. Now madden is not even close mlb is the best sports game and it is not even close and nba 2k, Nhl and tiger woods are all better. I am just tried of madden trying to play catch up to other sports games and even to madden on ps2. why do we have sever things in madden that are worse or just the same has madden on ps2? Also took a full gen to get back owner mode and we are still missing some good features form ps2 days. Anmations havnt really gotten better then ps2 and things like clock managmet are a lot worse then ps2. In ps2 clock management was never a problem. Things are supposed to get better over time with technolighy getting better and madden has regressed in a lot of ways. My cofidences in madden is very low and nothing shown so far for NG really has me more confident. I know that it usley takes a few years for NG games to reach there full protectiol and that next gen launch games can be rushed but if this years madden or next years madden doesn't show a lot of improvement form this gen I am done with madden. I am tried of excuses like people saying that ps3 and xbox 360 needed more power to do things. That didn't stop madden form being great on ps2 and it hasn't stop mlb the show form making great games and nba 2k has while. If you would have told me where madden was in the year 2013 back when this gen was about to start I would have laughed at you and said no the game would be much better. Madden has added and then took so many features out. Nothing reason that mlb the show is so good if the added a new feature they then builed on it the next year and improve it they don't just take it away. Example would be the extra point show they could have bulided on it by added highlights and improving the comitary insteady they just take it away the next year. Dose anyone rember back when they added they extra point show there was talk about addeding highlights to it in a patch? Yet they never did and then all was forgotten what happened with that? A few years ago the addend being able to had truner updates yet never used it so many broken promises this gen.

Ok..as long as their are individual bodies yelling and screaming in the seats that are not card board cutouts do we really, really care about anything else after that...Other than a quick stadium pan here and there and as long as every fan is not the same fan you would think that most of us would want time and effort to go into things like realtime presentation such as stat overlays, cleaning up tackle animations or improvement on defensive AI.

can the damn player models look anymore real??? I'm not saying improvement is not needed but I think many of you are setting the bar too high...I'm expecting cleaner crisper graphics, improved environments, improved animations (notice I didn't say NEW animation) and the elimination of sliding and warping...If I can get that with the same game I can accept that for year one.

I'm actually excited about the game, what it looks like and the possibility of more stability in control.

Looks exactly like MLB The Shows crowd on current gen.

The Show's crowd looks way more detailed than that Madden 25 screenshot. Granted, you can only see their backs, but even just judging by the clothing textures, The Show looks better. What I mainly want to see, though, is the different states the crowd can express - excited, bored, hostile, etc - like in that Backbreaker Crowd Demo. That was super impressive considering how many thousands of characters were on screen.

Edit: Oh, and there are women in that screenshot from The Show lol. None in Madden 25.

They would have to look somewhat real first, before I would ever use the word "anymore".

Madden player models are quite terrible. I don't care if they're made out of a Quadrillion polygons, they look silly. Skinny bodies, big heads, appendages that seem to always be bent at perfect 90 degree angles, and I would mention how they animate, but that would just be piling on top of Tiburon's legacy of butt fumbles.

So to answer your question, yeah, it can get MUCH realer.

Outside of improved graphics, I wasn't expecting much of a difference between current gen Madden and next gen Madden the first year. That being said, being so close to launch, it's extremely disheartening to watch the next gen video trailer/teaser only to end up listening to them talk about what they can do versus showing us what they can do.

Let's hope future videos provide more proof than pudding (ie gameplay). Fingers crossed.
