Doubt any of us in Australia have it so far
Only way we'll be getting it earlier than tomorrow (Which Isn't too far anymore anyway) was if a store accidentally gave it to someone before release, allowing every other store to give it out, it happened last year at a local 'Game' (which is thus closed now) accidentally gave NBA 2k13 a few days early, the store was fined and every other store in the area was allowed to also give out the game at that date since one store already accidentally gave it out before release.

That's correct - got it 1 day early last year. Year before aswell.....
Be nice to have it early, but there is less urgency this year for me..... I am sure next gen will have me scrambling for receipts from somewhere in the country though.....

If I had to guess, it would be something do with the servers. Maybe controlling traffic on the servers at release.
If it isn't anything like that and ends up being something completely obscure, then I'll be mad.Comment

Not getting it. Waiting for it on PS4.
I've seen enough gameplay vids to convince me that current gen is basically a patched-up version of 2K13 (Next-gen will probably be similar but I guess the graphics will compensate for that).
As for previous years, the street date was usually broken a day or two earlier. I'm guessing demand won't be as high this year but that's just my theory :PLast edited by vtcha; 10-02-2013, 04:38 AM.Comment

One of my friends works at EB Games and I asked him about why we get it 2 days later compared to the 1/10/2013 release date, basically everywhere else but here I feel like it is :P, but he's got no clue either, must want Americans to have it first or something who knows, at least it's not that far till tomorrow anywhere where all us living in Australia can get our hands on 2k14 :PJuliusComment
