    Question for Editor gurus

Since you've all been able to successfully manipulate rosters, what else is available for our, personal entertainment?

I'm going to sound like a broken record here, i know, but what's going to eventually kill me is not being able to access my dynasty via the web any longer.

So are we just fortunate that a roster file just happens to be simple text, or when you go in, are you able to access much more if the desire to do so was there?

What i'm asking, is it, or would it be possible to get a dump of your dynasty, and have access to stats, and recruiting via a not yet made program? You know, something you could export to a pc, manipulate, then import back to console, advance the week, and let the cpu finish doing it's thing?

    I know, wishful thinking....

    Re: Question for Editor gurus

One of the real gurus will need to chime in on the stats thing as I haven't started my dynasty yet. I know you can view and edit recruits. I'll tell ya what I'm doing: I have auto named the default EA roster which does the same to the coaches. Then, I started a dynasty with the conference allignment that will take place over the next couple of years, Louisville to ACC, Maryland and Rutgers to Big 10, etc. I then loaded the dynasty into the editor and have zeroed out all coaches wins, losses, conference champs, natl champs, bowl records, etc. and all the teams records such as all-time wins, championships, etc. just like the coaches. This way, it's like my dynasty starts without real names with conferences already edited and a clean slate to track teams and coaches records throughout. I even erased all school and NCAA records, so that whatever is done in my dynasty will be the new standing record for a season or career. I've also tinkered with the preseason BCS rankings and ranked teams by their overall in the game and reorded the Heisman favorites as well. I am testing a couple of more things before I start such as putting all coaches at a 50% approval rating, so everyone has their fair chance to keep their job and I wanted to test erasing team's attendance numbers to see if they can be tracked just within my dynasty and not what the game shipped with. I can't wait to get started!

game stats, won-loss records, game scores etc. are editable. not sure what your question is exactly. if you havn't yet read the threads discussing the editors, i highly suggest you do so.

so for '14, the generic editor is the one we need to be dealing with?

I want to see if it is possible to have something created where we can put a file on a memory stick, upload it to pc, then go through, check previous game week stats, season stats, scout an opponent via roster or depth, then take my team, perform the weekly recruiting duties, reupload the file onto my console, advance the week, let the cpu do it's regular thing to all other non user controlled teams, and proceed to the next week.

havn' t heard of anybody attempting to write a program like that, assume most people will just use the console for that.
