with tats I dont think that is true, it would be nice, but falls very low on the list of things they need to with presentation. the accessories need to be done first because every player has accessories, not every player has visible tats. either way the NFL doesnt allow the tats in the game so its not something to worry with.

You are the only person that brought up race. Its proven fact, dark tat ink on dark skin is hard to see. would be the same as if I got a tattoo that used real light ink. It would be hard to see, especially from a ways away. Take your stir stick out of the pot.Comment

The point is that 2K is able to showcase their basketball players with tattoos without any issues in my opinion. I mean I can see the tattoos just fine on every single player that has them. It's silly how the NFL doesn't want to to display such artwork on their players in madden. I know for a fact we would be able to see the tattoos fine on all players. The proof is in the pudding with all 2k basketball players. Okay we can't have tattoos on any NFL players in madden, but to the individuals who stated that you wouldn't be able to hardly see the tattoos on the players are wrong. The camera pans by the players and zooms in constantly after every play. So the logic the people are using who believe you would hardly be able to see anything, are very wrong.Comment

I get what you are saying, but it can come off as offensive to some. Especially the part about tattoos not mattering because most players are black. That comment sounded racist IMO.Last edited by TheBuddyHobbs; 10-02-2013, 08:05 PM.Comment

If thats the case you trying to turn a simple statement into a race thing would be a real quick way for the same to happen to you. You're trying to start something that isnt there on an internet message board.Comment

Thats exactly what Im saying, people won't see it, unless you use a lot of white ink on your tats to cause a stark contrast. Im a titans fan, watch cj no k every sunday. Hes covered in tats, but watching him on tv unless they have a close up of him on the sideline you cant tell hes tatted up at all. so why waste the time on something people wont see unless there is a camera close up on them?
apples and oranges, different game, different amount of clothing. nfl has jersey sleeves, armbands, arm sleeves, gloves etc. but most importantly the nba game camera is zoomed in much more than the nfl game so its easier to see things like that.Comment

I mean, just look at the absence of equipment. It's insane.
The absence of moving fat on players is a more pressing issue, especially because that was present on PS2 Madden03.Comment

Also, most of your elite tatted up players are black. their tattoos would be very hard to see just as they are on the tv in real life. I dont even think I can think of 5 white, latino, hawaiian etc players that have very prominent visible tattoos. so even if the NFL did allow it there wouldnt be much need to work on something you could barely if at all see.Comment

plus not having tattoos makes it seem like only half of the player is in the game and tattoos make up a player they have stories behind themLOUISVILLE

Re: Next-Gen Madden NFL 25 Twitter Q&A w/ Art Director Jean Adams & Producer Seann Gr
well what it looks like to you and what it actually is is two different things. take baseball for example, people complain cause there arent tats in the show, theres more white players in baseball than football, their tattoos usually only peek out from under their sleeves, so its the same thing, no reason to waste time on something that you barely see even if the mlb allowed tats, which they dont.Comment
