      That's because all of the CPU player ratings are boosted about 15 points in on ball defense and several other scores. So that guy you expect to be a 65 on ball is really an 80 and so is every one else.

          Adjust the cpu on ball defense in the sliders. Easy Fix. Just like the guy complaining missing wide open layups because some defender is in the area....well increase your inside /close sliders. Not saying you complaining but i see a lot threads about things that can be tweaked to your liking with sliders.
