Yeah I'm not trying to attack anyone. It was just a bad choice of words.Comment

Lol yeah those q&a ign questions on Xbox one was just awful. The interviewer asked like ten questions about gamer tags and avatars.actually, I do like certain footage they have shown...regarding graphics.
I meant how the question was worded. Now if he asked "How"...then it would come off totally different...but its still a broad question.
sorry if I come off paranoid, but Microsoft tried to pass off an AMA (ask me anything) with IGN and readers as legit...when it was obvious it wasn't.
anyway, StL_RamZ is probably more right.Comment

No.
It's against our TOS and should have been dropped awhile ago.
People are actually trying to help out.
Now, lets drop it.
And while we're at it. Lets stop debating the moot point of tattoos all together. It's been discussed ad nauseam over the years here and nothing is changing.Comment

Re: Next-Gen Madden NFL 25 Twitter Q&A w/ Art Director Jean Adams & Producer Seann Gr
fair enough, lets just narrow it down to tiburon thenThey can't reasonably think this. For no other reason than FIFA. People love their offering because they have taken the time to move their game forward with innovation. First it was the physics engine. That was a disaster the first year but EA stuck with it despite fans groans and delivered an engine that fans love because its realistic. Then they listened to fans that disliked the arcade ping pong nature of FIFA 13 and added a level of realism I honestly didnt think EA was capable of. The reason behind all this, the little guy Konami kept putting out a gameplay first focused game and despite the fancy licenses Konami's game was constantly a thorn in EA's side so they worked to make their game better.
The issue with Madden is that they will try something and then people complain about it not being fully executed and instead of taking their lumps and working on it for the next year they usually end up cutting it and starting over with something else. It really seems like when left to their own evaluations they can not for the life of them determine what fans want. Look no further than the 40% drop in year over sales that Madden experienced. And that is with no other NFL game out there.

Look at it from EA business model. EA makes the perfect football game that everyone has been dreaming of for 15 years. Then the next year they have the same perfect football game again with new rosters.
How long will it take people to start saying "Oh this is the same "perfect" football game again with a roster update."
I want sim and realism as much as anyone and EA could make a better product if they chose to. Unfortunately they come out with this every year so why make it perfect. How can you top perfection next year?
The only answer I see is make the game as great as possible and release the next version at least 3 years later...."And there's a frequent bug that turns the receivers' route markers into dancing squiggly lines. None of these problems destroy the fun of running a perfect option play, but they do take you out of what should be an immersive experience."....Comment

It's kind of sad that my very first introduction to an EA sports game was Lakers vs Celtics. I cant even remember how old I was at the time my father bought me that game (I'm 34 now). I supported every EA sports basketball game from Lak vs Celts through NBA live 2003 (whatever freestyle was introduced) I was fortunate enough to play ever EA football game from John Madden footbal through Madden 04. since then the only EA game i bought was the Fight Night Series. EA was sort of responsible for me being a gamer till this day (although my free time to playi is dwindling each day). Now, I have fully lost faith in them, maybe i look for realism/simulation more than the gimmicks. All i know is that as the game became more advance the fun factor has taken a step backwards. I dont understand why they continue to promise so much but deliver on less than half of those promises. Where is the NBA Live 2014 Trailers? Where is the next gen gameplay. I wonder do they not care for there original fans, the ones from the late 80's early 90's, we are the ones with the cash to support you. It seems that they didnt grow with theire audience. I understand you have to reinvent yourself and cant remain stagnant but EA both current/next gen should be far ahead of the competition with all the industry experience they have, and they now are clearly not.Comment

Re: Twitter Chat w/ Art Director Jean Adams and Producer Seann Graddy
It comes down to an evaluation of priority. Everything can't be done in a year, so when deciding a to add it will take away from progression in another area. If you think it is the most important wish item for player accessories, and everyone agrees, I will pass your feedback to Jean.I would like an official response on why, for the second console generation in a row, about what, 7/8 Madden releases or so we still don't have mouthguards on players that wear them. People always laugh about this question, but why has EA never officially responded?Comment

I think vast majority of OS community agrees that the most needed accessories that are missing from madden are mouthpieces and one arm sleeves (like RG3 has).It comes down to an evaluation of priority. NFL: Philadelphia Eagles
MLB: New York MetsComment

It means the camera is back to the default that was in madden 13 but once you cross the LOS the camera zooms in on the player a little bit.Comment

I think the priority for most people are new animations and better executed ones.It comes down to an evaluation of priority. Not sure who's responsibility that is, but I think some organic running animations and tonnes of signature animations on top of base animations (catch, tackle, etc.) having weight and being grounded in physics is what we need to see in next gen madden.
I'd also hope that with regards to accessories it's not limited to shooting sleeves and mouth guards alone, because multi colour cleats, new cleats such as Cam Newton, Tom Brady, Andre Johnson etc. need to be in there as well as new sleeve types.
There is a fantastic thread called 'next gen accessories wants' which actually provides visual support to requests so the effect of the accessories for immersion are easier understood, and that clarity of request is easier understood.Comment

I can't provide a link to the thread on my phone, but it is very easy to find and understand the priorities of requests there, with regards to accessories specifically.Comment

Thanks for clarifying infamous. I've seen the thread and it is great, as a fan of football I want all of those things.I think the priority for most people are new animations and better executed ones.
