Re: Free Agency "Logic".... Yeah not so much

While they should indeed try and address such mess, I fault them more for not realizing that customization and editing are their saviors ...

      Why ?

Because each and everyone of us have an unique perspective of how the logic should simulate results ... had they given us the tools to decide what is most important for the players (win, role, money, popularity, forming super squads, all or a mix) and the teams (stand still, trade, go young, go experienced, go highest rated, go role specific, for budget relief, go position of need, all or a mix), less complains would be made.

We need to fit the game into our view, for some that scenario that happened would been possible (not for me and maybe not for many, but for some) and for other not, so, why not cater for both and some more. Here is to hope for that, come next gen.

No other additions for the 76ers..

Wade and Bosh are still on the Heat. Wade is now backing up Kobe.

Lakers have Nash, Ray Allen and thats it

LeBron opted out of his contract, which is a strong possibility for him to do this off-season. Granted, Philly probably wouldn't be his prime destination (He's signed with Dallas a few times in my game, which makes more sense) But Philly might have also signed another guy to go with him and Nerlens Noel, they'd be dangerous.

Also, the Lakers let Kobe walk, they see how old he is, and they don't wanna pay him all that money, time to start over. Kobe wants ring number 6, he goes to Miami to play with Bosh and Wade after being disrespected and let go by the Laker organization. He knows it's probably his last year, so he makes one last ditch effort to get that last ring.

            What's the problem?

So you think that Miami would pay kobe more than LA?

Here's a crazy glitch, In my association, I traded for Pau Gasol, extended his and Deng's contracts during the season and during free agency I signed Carmelo Anthony to a max contract, I was over the cap and a pop up message came up saying "Melo would take a lower pay for a chance at a championship" (not those exact words, but something along those lines)

Um, he probably signed a one year deal, at a lowered price to win a ring. I actually got that message when I signed him to the Knicks im my Association.

L.A. obviously didn't want him, they usually let him walk in my test associations, which is what they would probably do IRL after this season.

So, I still don't see the problem

I started an association with the Thunder....

After the first year I signed Kobe for 4 years and just around $5+ million each year because its aid he wanted to take less money for a title. Him, Durant, and Westbrook all on the same team won it easy. (The only two games I've played have been after I hit 3 wins in the finals in both playoffs)

Kobe retired and I signed Melo the next offseason for less money than I did Kobe, all because he wanted to win a title too. It's seems pretty easy to stack your team.

It's not always though, sometimes they give him a two year deal. It's honestly about 50/50. Usually depends on how they performed during the season.

                          Mine goes like this

                          kobe - miami
                          lebron - bobcats
                          allen - lakers

and in season the lakers traded away pau gasol to spurs with 2 role players.
I just LOLed, the lakers just became the leagues bobcats.

It's like people don't know what rebuilding means. Did you not see what the Celtics did this off-season?
