Last year's soundtrack was absolutely atrocious, save for a couple of songs. So bad in fact that I needed to play the game on mute to bear playing it. This year actually has some pretty good music that I could see myself playing basketball to. Good job King James.

I think it would be a great idea to start implementing this every year...have a featured NBA player every year build the soundtrack with songs they listen to before the game...how cool would that be...Comment

Couldn't agree more. Last year was god awful. Never let a performer choose the music if they're just going to cram it as full of their stuff as possible.
This year's music is so much better but I'm still muting it. The playlist is too short and there's only so many times you can hear a song without groaning and wishing you could port your own tunes into it just for some variety.Comment

I remember those days...hearing a track get popular on the radio and you've been listening to it on your video game for months before anyone even knew who it was...I cant remember which one but I can remember a year where the main title track blew up huge and was played every where all the time and 2k had it first...Comment

I had to turn "Started From the Bottom" off. I just hate that song and Drake in general. Otherwise, the soundtrack is good. Not 2k9 good, though. I loved 2k9's.

I disagree. There are only three or four good songs in the entire bunch. This is just as bad as last years. They should not let any players or "producers" pick any of the music. The soundtracks in 10, 11 and 12 were all way better than these last two trainwrecks.

to me, picking songs which are too popular is a mistake. We've heard Blurred Lines and Get Lucky all summer, we don't want to listen to them everytime we start the game, too. I played the heck out of MLB The Show, so I've heard Radioactive enough already. Then it got popular over summer and now it is on NBA 2k.......oh well I still love it lol. Eminem song is old, but it is good.Comment
