Unlike previous years due to time constraints I haven't really got right into the small details of the roster.
Its a combover. Edited to improve the cpu gameplay, simmed stats etc....
There are no sig shot adjustments, no accessory changes. Just under the hood changes to improve the cpu's gameplay.
What I did.
RATINGS COMBOVER: There were some truly awful ratings. little balance and consistency. Some players did'nt seem to have had any changes [bar shooting attributes] for years.
POTENTIAL ATTRIBUTE IMPROVEMENTS. No more over abundance of players easily reaching all star ratings in your association. Trade logic should be improved as well.
SHOT AND SHOOTING TENDENCY COMBOVER: to improve simmed stats as well as create better cpu offense where the right players
take the right shots and the stars and go to guys are prominent.
ATTACK/PASS OUT TENDENCY CHANGES: 2k had many players back to front. with big stiffs having pgs pass out tendencies and vice versa.
TOUCHES TENDENCY ADJUSTMENTS: Again, this tendency is vital to getting the right players involved and prominent. and again
2k out of the box was pretty awful. eg: Bosh 10. Haslem 90 [from memory] WTF 2K WTF??
POST AND POST SHOOTING TENDENCY IMPROVMENTS: Awful and lazy out of the box. with post scoring stars very low, yet some stiffs and/or
rookies etc were what the stars should be. The changes I made significantly improve the bigs and post scorers involvment and shot taking,
which was a big flaw out of the box.
ROLL OR FADE TENDENCY ADJUSTMENTS: Thanks to qpc123 for discovering how playbooks relate to this tendency.
FLASHY PASSES TENDENCY IMPROVEMENTS: Obviously VC wanted to show off their new passing system by having the vast majority of the
roster over 50. bigs and stiffs included. tskk..tsk..
COACH PROFILE IMPROVEMENTS:
Important changes to improve cpu teams play styles and most importantly, the cpu's behaviour.
PLAYBOOKS COMBOVER: I didnt get right into the nitty gritty and these could still be improved by roster makers who want to take the time
to break the plays down. but they are improvements over the out of the box playbooks regardless.
So there you have it.
As many of you 2k forum O.S vets would know, I do roster improvements each and every year for my own personal use. You guys can do with it what you want.
Use it as a base for your own changes and improvements. do whatever. I am done editing for now. And there will be no big Nogsters superleague roster anymore. No time or patience for that anymore.
I Will make continual changes to my roster througout the season based on my experiences playing the game and improving where I can etc...Whether I upload these changes for those that use my roster.
I'm not promising anything. I'm an old timer who doesnt have the time to adjust rosters the way I did. I just want to enjoy a season now, playing a "game of the day"
for an 82 game season, like I always do.
NOTE: The game auto generates rotations when you start a season/association/myplayer. which are always horrible. I advise if possible [ control all 30 teams] to adjust the rotations to how they should be.

Please post impressions etc... Its not a perfect flawless roster. that's for sure. but you can be assured that it plays and sim a lot better than what we got out of the box.
