Wow...

That's the only thing I can say to this is wow. The video was clearly next gen, from the stadium, to the coaches wearing headsets, you could tell it was next gen (Barely)

Back in the day 2K wasn't a big or popular name, but now I would say 2K is just as popular a name as EA is. NBA 2K has made a big name for 2K. 2K also just picked up the WWE games. The company is expanding and making a name for themselves. I don't know if you have seen the casuals comments on the next gen footage but they are as outraged as we the sim community are. NBA 2K is highly regarded amongst fans. At this time a 2K football game would definitely be able to compete with Madden. Back in the day 2K didn't have the name they have now. Times have changed and I would be willing to bet people would jump on the 2K bandwagon. They see what 2K has done for basketball and they are also getting tired of Madden. As a combo that is exactly what 2K football can take advantage of.

2k hoops is undoubtedly cream of the crop. Let's not get crazy with the whole 2k name brand thing though. They BUTCHERED Major League Baseball, and got their hind ends handed to them in the NHL area, so much so they gave up and haven't even tried to compete.

Even so if it's another build. At this point it won't look night and day difference from the current version. Slight graphics res/bump. It is what it is.

Oh man, I laughed my *** off! That's all you can do anymore anyway isn't it. A gif of Gordon just turning around and back would be even better. By the way, at the :28 second mark of the Chargers Colts vid from today, 96 of the Chargers stares at Lucks pass into the endzone coming directly at him, is in perfect position to make a play/pick, but for some reason appears to have some type of seizure, have they coded defensive seizures in this year? Maybe the madden player models are starting to have chronic traumatic encephalopathy

I wouldn't say butchered MLB, but definitely wasn't up to par with The Show. However, it isn't the point. We know they made an awesome football game and have a portable engine (unlike madden). At this point I just want the license opened up so someone can make an alternative..Look at these 2k vids and watch real football on a broadcast can and presentation. Madden looks awful, comparatively.

This is the bottom line, unless that somehow was some 360/X1 hybrid, if your focus was player movement with True Step and you cannot immediately distinguish if it is current gen or next, you have failed. Period, no other way to see that.

i just think it's a bad business decision for them, and sales ARE going down, lately, Madden is nowhere near the sales juggernaut that it used to be.

Why does the NFL care about Madden sales. They get the same money regardless

Last time it was the video was encoded wrong, now we get it was definitely 360. Even though that was clearly next gen. Well not clearly because the graphics are a minimal upgrade. But you guys get what I am saying. This is just sad EA just sad...
