They had 2 years to completely rebuild in time for the next gen systems. If they were going to do it then they would of done it. Instead, we are getting the same engine we have had for another 5 to 8 years. If they can't improve on this engine then it's another wasted console generation for EA. If they flop this gen like they did the last one I wouldn't be surprised if EA sports was no more by the time this next gen life cycle is over.

Come on man. Madden, FIFA, NHL alone will sell enough to keep them afloat, they're not going out of business. Add to all the die hard NBA Live fans that will buy that game every year this gen, they're not going anywhere. I agree with a lot of what you say, but this just won't happen.

I know I'm not alone in wanting someone to get to Cam Weber and ask him the following questions:

At E3 you showed demos of Next Gen Madden that was said to be in game running on Xbox One tech...Was that true and if so why does the game look nothing like that now?

Also in the IGN interview you were showing what you claimed was actual Madden Gameplay with Adrian Peterson...Can you explain why the game now looks nothing like what you displayed in the IGN interview?

Right there with you. It's one thing to have a cg trailer but we saw actually gameplay with that Adrian Peterson running demo.

Yeah the generalization was bad. What I meant was I wouldn't be surprised if Madden was gone by the end of the next gen cycle. That's if they do what they did this past gen. From the looks of it so far they haven't changed or learned much of anything.

With the small changes that we saw from year to year on current consoles they have no excuses for not having the time to completely rebuild it.

We saw some runs on a practice field that looked eerily similar to current gen, even back then. I'm confused as to why people keep bringing that vid up? It showed nothing next gen to me. The graphics were better, and the running animations were a smidgen better. It's not like they showed something completely different from what we're seeing in these trailers.

let me be captain Obvious for a moment...If they zoomed out and let you see 11 on 11 play...then you might not buy it...Duh

Its like a decent looking chick jumpin in the sack with you knowing she got some real messed up feet...She gonna hide them damn feet cause she knows they look like somebody dropped a sack of nickels on them...She don't want to kill your vibe with her Hammer Time Feet.

Madden isn't going anywhere either, it's the sad truth. Like I said, these casual, tournament, online gamers will continue to buy this game in droves. Madden will be around for as long as the NFL and EA want it to be.

All sports gaming companies do it. They implement 2 to 3 gameplay changes and add a new feature or two. Save other improvements and features for the next game. It's done so they can give you a reason to keep buying year after year. The problem is Madden has about 20 different issues that it needs fixing. So fixing 2 to 3 issues at a time is not acceptable. While other games it might be fine.

Lol except they don't even fix 2-3 issues each year. They just create 2-3 new features that nobody asked for which will be thrown out of the game a year or 2 later.
