Re: Madden 25 CFM Realistic Sliders

It might just be me, but I'm having a really hard time running the ball effectively with slower running backs (Green-Ellis of Cincy to be specific.) I'm using the house rule of no acceleration w/ the right trigger. Just wanting to see if I'm the only one, thanks!

      Hey jaymee13,

I noticed some people have coverage set at 0 because they say that slider is reversed, what are your thoughts on this???

The slider is reversed, but my sliders are working fine the way they are set. Don't fix what's not broken.

Thanks Jaymee13, your sliders are great. Are any other sliders reversed that you know of? I see a lot of run/pass block set at 0 too...are they all reversed?

Those aren't reversed. Run block is finicky and can be used in conjunction with the holding penalties. Because I focus on trying to get realistic penalties, I will need run block to make up for the high holding slider.

Pass block is a slider that I don't see too much difference with. If you want to see more sacks, lower the number.

I used your sliders and it sucks because every game i played the score is in the 60s and the opposing qb is throwing 80 times a game. Idk how to tweak them anymore then i have already. If you could give me pointers that would be great. O and im playing as the dolphins which makes it even more skeptical

These sliders are amazing, you and I play a lot alike. What kind of stats are you looking for from gamers?

Total plays, total yardage, random scores (blowouts both ways and close battles)

I've noticed that ratings matter because my mediocre team has a 5-4 record.

I've had two awesome games! Redskins 24-Lions 17 and Texans 16-Colts 10. First game was a well balanced game, the second was a defensive slugfest. I will have more stats for you tonight, I'm really digging your sliders.

The only change I made was game speed to slow. I can't deal with the "pinball" effect on normal, the only issue I have on slow is the "caught in mud" issue on sweeps.

I love gameflow, I feel many people don't have the patience to work with it. IMO, the teams play like they do in real life and I like how it constantly goes to its go-to player. When I played against the Lions, Megatron had 9 catches for 114 yards. When I played against the Texans, Adrian Foster gutted me for 152 yards on 27 carries. It was an absolute pleasure watching the CPUs versatility with the play calls.

I must say, I take it a step further than you do with the house rules. The only players I control are the QB (throwing to a WR), K and P, I let the CPU take control of everything else. Sad but I feel you see the game play its truest form this way. Besides penalties, I can honestly say this is the closest I've seen NFL and Madden stats match. These settings rock J!

There is no way you are playing with the house rules. Maybe your sliders aren't locking in. I've had nothing but NFL-like stats with my games. I will make it a point tonight to post some stats.

For total plays, are you counting pass attempts, rushing attempts and sacks?

                            Yes. Minus special team plays.

I tried your settings/sliders, and rules. They played out really well. I liked allowing the receivers to do their own thing after a completion. The only rule i wont use is the Gameflow. The play calling in Gameflow is about as inept as you can get, especially on offense. So i choose my plays, and like your rule states, i make no adjustment or Hot Routes at the line. The game played out just fine without Gameflow.
