Imo this is a win-win situation for Kubiak.

If Case comes out and plays even reasonably well the Texans will have something to build on going forward. If Case should fall flat on his face GK can just say "ya'll happy now?" and go back to Schaub after the bye week with a minimum of grumbling from the local fanbase. Either way, it's advantage Kubiak.

And depending on how the Texans look in this game and how Keenum performs as well, there's no guarantee Kubiak himself makes it thru the bye week.

The Chiefs defense will bury this no name QB the same way the buried Pryor last week. This will be no contest. Chiefs will win at home. It will be the usual keep it close for a half or 3 quarters then they will turn it up in the 4th and run away with it. Good luck Texans, you will need it.

            Chiefs 28
            Texans 10

Thats the best way to look at it! Kubiak is giving Houston what they asked for and if it fails....Well were "Schuabed". The bad part about all of this...Keenums still using Kubiaks plays

You know you're getting desperate when you have to bust out a retort like this.

So, why no TJ Yates? Played well when he took over a few years ago, has a bad game I guess in relief and all the sudden the practice squad QB is the choice. Why haven't you had your depth chart in this order from the get-go? Does a bad half really do that to you?

I know Thad Lewis worked out for the Bills, but this could be a disaster. Personally, I think Schaub is getting a slightly raw deal in Houston. He's been their guy and has helped turn them around, suddenly he's lost it? I'm not buying, they're struggling and he's become the scapegoat (some deserved, some not). The pick-6 stuff is a total fluke but a great talking point for everyone to hang on to. He needs to turn his season around but damn they're abandoning him quickly. I know the bar is raised for the Texans, but if Keenum is your supposed answer... Yikes!
