How to equalize the ratings boosts
Some of us are realizing how each difficulty level in 2k14 has its own arbitrary ratings boosts. Have you ever wondered what the ratings boosts are so you know what advantage the CPU has at higher levels? Or have you wanted to know so that you can go into the sliders and equalize your players with the CPU?
Well All Star difficulty level has the least amount of ratings boosts given to the CPU so that's the level I'll show you. If you want the other levels you gota do it yourself. So here are the boosts:
Ball Handling +5
Awareness +10 (def and off)
Hands +6
On ball def +3
Strength +3
You can find these by switching the controller to the CPU side and then going to substitutions. Make sure to back out of the controller selection screen using the B button (xbox 360) instead of the Start button or else you won't be able to see the CPU's stats.
These numbers are calculated by the slider co-efficient. What I mean by that is, for example, in All Star difficulty they give a boost to the players off and def Awareness by 15 points. But if you want to equalize that number using the sliders, you would lower the slider awareness by 10 points. It's the way the sliders work relative to the points. Each slider point is 1 or 1.5 rating. Questions? Comments?
