NFC/AFC South online enabled roster file (Work In Progress)

I have been editing an 8-team, online-capable NFL file for a few months now.

MediaFire is a simple to use free service that lets you put all your photos, documents, music, and video in a single place so you can access them anywhere and share them everywhere.

    Teams are:

    Jags
    Titans
    Colts
    Texans

    Bucs
    Panthers
    Saints
    Falcons

Right now, all teams have updated 2013-2014 Nike uniforms and 11 working legends with appropriate photos/faces.

All user teams come with every offensive play available. For the defense playbooks, 3-4 teams will have only 3-man fronts to choose from. 4-3 teams have only 4-man fronts to choose from.

Substitutions should be correct for all teams so that slot receivers always line up in the slot and DEs/OLBs are always on the appropriate weak/strong side. CBs are also subbed properly so that they show up in their correct leftside/rightside position.

The stadiums are all unique for each team, and they are named as close to the real stadiums as possible given the file size restrictions.

Uniforms are looking good except for the Jags home/away, which doesn't have the correct shade of teal available in the game, and the Panthers home/away, which doesn't have the correct shade of blue available in the game.

Names, numbers, abilities and equipment/appearances are all correct. Many of the play by play names are wrong and still need fixing. Just mute the play by play for now if it bothers you. I am working on getting all the play by play names right.

Tiering is based off a player's true skill, so some teams have more golds or silvers than others. The player ratings have not been adjusted yet.

The next step for me is filling out these 8 teams with a full roster of generic players, which is a huge endeavor due to how FUBAR the name database already is on this file. It is only going to get more FUBAR once I get into generic editing. Some of these generics I will make tiered players, so that will create more disparity between these teams' talent levels.

But I will make sure this roster can be taken online, which is something you can't do with the RateSports file. I will update this thread as this file progresses.

      ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE WORK jyoung.

I wish I was rich so I could give you $500 for what you have done.

I appreciate it and so does Derrick .... and what about the rest?

      Thanks

Just bumping this since I updated the Jags uniforms last night to match the monstrosity that they use now. Their helmets remain solid black, though, since there's no way to make a two-tone helmet in APF 2K8.

I also included my roster notes with the download so you can now easily see the offset for every player in the file.

I may update the starting 11 for each team if I have some time this week.

I've made a lot of changes to the file recently.

The download link for the new version is in the original post.

          Titans

I've got pretty much their full lineup in the game now minus a few backups that I haven't found yet in the hex file. Tiering, abilities and ratings are all true life now, as even the generics and backups have their true ratings. Height, weight, accessories and facemasks were also updated for everyone on Tennessee.

          Silver

          28 RB - Johnson
          71 T - Roos
          76 T - Stewart
          30 CB - McCourty
          20 CB - Verner
          31 SS - Pollard

          Bronze

          33 FS - Griffin
          99 DT - Casey
          13 WR - Wright
          55 OLB - Brown
          53 MLB - Foikou
          92 DE - Pitoitua
          70 G - Warmack
          69 G - Levitre

          Colts

I haven't started on generics yet for them and I may add another bronze or two to their roster, but here's what I've got so far:

          Gold

          98 OLB - Mathis
          50 ILB - Freeman

          Silver

          87 WR - Wayne
          12 QB - Luck
          20 CB - Butler
          41 FS - Bethea

          Bronze

          34 HB - Richardson
          66 G - Thomas
          13 WR - Hilton
          78 T - Cherilus
          23 CB - Davis

I haven't touched the Colts' ratings yet, but those guys at least have proper abilities and tiering. All the heights, weight, accessories and facemasks were also updated.

More to come as the week progresses.
