Salary Cap for M25 CCM ...

I'm a good few years into my CCM. I manage my cap very well, always having at least $10m space each year.

However, other teams are having to cut a lot of players of players, or trade them, to stay under the cap. Or, they signed a decent player in previous years ad now can't afford to sign their best player, so they let the better player go.

I understand this does happen in real life but would turning the salary cap off help CPU teams stay more competitive?

Would appreciate other people's view on this.

Without actually doing this, I would assume free agency would become a non factor.

On the same vain I was wondering if when playing as a coach there was a way to view the team finances if you did have the salary cap turned off?

Good point. I barely use FA, preferring the draft. I do add a player here or there each year as backups. Some players will still reach FA.

Of course, only 53 players can be kept by each team so there will be players available after cuts too.
