Next-Gen NBA 2K14 Will Have 2-2-1-1-1 Finals Format, No Word Yet For Current-Gen

The NBA announced the return to the 2-2-1-1-1 Finals format on Wednesday. Today, 2K Sports has confirmed the format will make its way to next-gen NBA 2K14.

We've reached out to 2K Sports to find out if they have any plans on patching current-gen NBA 2K14. They haven't responded yet, but we'll update everyone if they do.

That's ok CG NBA 2k14 won't be getting touched by me anyhow when my XB1 gets connected.

Sucks that current gen won't get patched (..yet?) but glad that next-gen news is continuing to roll out, so eager for next gen I got myself refreshing OS constantly.

Can't you choose your own Finals format in current gen anyway?

I think it's only possible to choose between 3,5 or 7 game series.

You can't choose how many home games and away games or the format of the home and away games. The new format refers to when they play at home and away.

I'm glad net-gen is getting it. Hopefully current gen will get it too as I'm sticking with current gen for now.
