NHL 14 Historic Rosters

I am Hoping to make a collection of rosters that everyone can enjoy, that will include a lot of eras and players. If anyone else makes a historic roster I would be glad to put in on this list and give you full credit so all of the historic rosters will be in the same place. Feel free to discuss, ask questions and post opinions!

I am interested if you guys would like me to do any other rosters then the ones listed above.

And also how would you like the draft classes

A) Re-Create History
Dominic Hasek goes in the 1st round instead of the 10th and Alex Daige Goes in the 10th instead of the 1st

B) Change History
Alex Daige goes in the 1st round and wins endless MVPS and Dominic Hasek goes in the 10th round and never gets any farther in his career then playing for the honolulu hippos

if artem makes it so we can change equipment with nhl view ...mainly looking for an option to go no helmet. then i will probably make a roster with each team having the best roster from a certain year. such as a 1987 or 1988 edmonton oilers, 2004 tampa bay, 1994 new york rangers etc. but i want to be able to put in a boston team with orr , montreal with richard .

I love historic rosters. I believe you guys are on Xbox right? I might look at a best teams rosters as well. By looking at the NHL view, do we have to create the players first in game? I am looking forward to see what historic rosters everyone comes up with? Bretsky I like those years, but a 96-97 year would be good also

This is just a WIP right now that NHLview is out, but I have 2 projects that I would love to do.

Definite
1993-1994
2004-2005

Maybe
2013-2014 (Not historic but I would love to make a really accurate roster for this year)

I vote for 93-94 roster and make players like Hasek go in first round. Also, just a recommendation, you might want to use the roster-4 update as your base because that one fixed the goalie rotation issue. Im not sure if they just adjusted certain attributes or something else...just a thought.

2000-2001 might be cool
-30 teams, which would make a full season playthrough possible without having to tweak the schedule

-Memorable teams (Incredibly stacked Colorado, Pittsburgh with the return of Mario, Surprisingly high scoring Devils)

-Great crop of goalies (Roy, Nabokov, Potvin, Belfour, Cujo, Brodeur, Turek, Irbe, Hasek)

A really good All Time Team roster would be cool. You could use all 30 teams and just pick the best players from any era who played on that team. Even if they the same player played on multiple teams you could tweek attributes like Patrick Roy on Montreal vs. Patrick Roy on Colorado. That would be pretty cool, And for teams like Dallas, Carolina, and Colorado you can include all the North Stars, Whalers, and Nordiques players. It would be a very large-scale project but very worthwhile. It might be easier when NHLView NG has some more player ID updates making it easier to edit play-by-play names and picture IDs and such.

Maybe even include some not-so-great players on the rosters like Brett Lindros on the Islanders, or Alexandre Daigle in Ottawa, and Patrik Stefan in Winnipeg/Atlanta. There are endless possibilities.

Have not had the time I would like to mess around with these, but do you have to create the players in game first before, then do the edits with the editor after you create them in game? Or is there a way to create players within the editor?

You can overwrite players in the game that will never be used

I have decided to change the 2004-2005 roster to a 2002-2003 roster becuase
1. It is easier to find players for
2. You get 3 really solid draft classes in this one

Probably dumb question, but are those players from other teams, or Hidden players?
