Holy **** the Iron Man Match is actually 60 minutes?? I've played through on hard but I'd consider dropping the difficulty on this because I'll be super pissed if failed it after all that.

Playing 30 years of WM - damn it's fun. First wrestling game where I'm sitting there pumping my fists after a win. Just something different about it where it's ... just better.
Legend difficulty with some tinkered sliders - I'm a little confused about how some guys can get Finishers sometimes. Is it still more momentum-based? It seems sometimes where a guy will be doing very well, but won't achieve a finisher, then get his butt kicked, then he gets two moves and all of a sudden has a finisher. Maybe it just feels that way.
Like someone else said, the finisher's are slightly easy to reverse, but particularly Savage's elbow. It's a cake reversal. That being said, beating him with Hogan took me forever. And beating Andre wasn't too easy either, he can hand out some punishment.
Universe mode is great, too. I let CPU play out everything, and I'm only a week through but will probably detail it in the Universe thread soon. A concern is that out of three feuds including championships, the first week of each has just been the challenger coming out after the champion wrestled a match and motions like he's coming for the belt.
Gameplay inside the Universe - I'm still fooling around with sliders for this. It's different than last year in that the mid-card matches are only 5-8 minutes or so, not many 10-plus singles matches between Miz and Kofi Kingston. I was concerned it would impact the main events, but so far my two main events saw Kane kick out of TWO AA's only to submit to Cena in a well-paced match, and Show making Del Rio submit in a submission match in another well-paced affair. I am still a bit scared of seeing a PPV Main Event be a 6-minute match ending after the first finisher, so I have finishing strength at about 16 (of 20) as opposed to 19 I had it at. I'm hesitant to make a match "epic" because I don't want a 15-finisher, 60-minute match. Does anyone have any ideas on how the "epic" matches are this year in comparison to "normal"?

Just faced Taker in B.T.S. mode with Punk. Absolutley incredible match, numerous chair and stair shots, both men bloody. Taker hits his sig. then goes for the Tombstone...I reverse into a Tombstone of my own! 1...2...kickout! Im yelling at my screen by this point. Go for the G.T.S.....and hit! Try to cover...hells gate, and I tap. It seemed like an actual match...stunning!Go Knicks

Wow!
Very impressed with the new gameplay! I lost to Macho Man as Ryback on Normal difficulty.
Started a WWF/WCW Universe from when I watched wrestling in the 90s but sprinkled in some newer guys that looked cool to me. Even though I have no idea who they are (never heard of Ryback?..).
Only question is how do I change guys attire in my Universe? I would like to get all of the NWO guys wearing NWO colors..
I was on the fence about buying this game, but glad I did!Rather than complain about life, take responsibility and do something about it..Comment

The A.I and WW30 mode makes this game for me...
WWE game shave had a VERY short shelf life in my XBOX..skipped '13 and barely played '12

just had the absolute best and most fun match yet in the WM30 mode!!!
i was playing the Hollywood Rock vs Stone cold match from WM 19.
after the 2nd wrestlemania moment the rest of the match played out almost exactly as it did in real life. and i mean organically without the help of cut scenes.
after the 2nd WM Moment which ends with the rock reversing the Stunner into a Rock Bottom. i immediately go for the pin and he kicks out. we fight some more we both end up with signatures. i do mine first, then i quickly go for the people's elbow. i go for the pin 1......2........he kicks out!!! we fight outside the ring then we get back in. he hits me with the Stunner! 1........2...........i kick out using Resiliency!! oh lord. J.R. cant believe it!
we fight for another minute, trading strong grapples and such, and now i have another signature. i go for Sharpshooter but he reaches the ropes. DAMMIT!! i then press up on the pad to set up for my finisher. i go for it and its reversed by Austin. Dammit. he immediately goes for the Stunner, and i reverse that! i try the Rock Bottom again............no reversal. I HIT THE ROCK BOTTOM. 1.........2.......3 ROCK WINS!!!
it felt so real. lol i was cheering and yelling at the tv. easily my best match against the CPU so far. the difficulty was on Normal too. this game and this WM30 are awesome!
next up, Wrestlemania 20"on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"

Anyone had any slowdown issues? I played a money in the bank match in the WM 1 arena on PS3 and it seemed like there was a noticeable slowdown throughout the whole match.Comment

I'm loving the 30 years of Wrestlemania mode but the Wrestlemania 6 scenario is pissing me off so much that I'm cursing Hogan's name as if I'm Bobby Heenan.Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

This game is far more fluid than last year for sure, mainly because the AI is far less buggy. They don't run outside every single match to take the announce table apart, they actually use signature moves almost every chance they get, and they understand how to set up the finishers, which was a huge problem last year. I had Macho Man lay me out in such a manner that I was blocking his path to the turnbuckle for his elbow drop, so he went around me and climbed out onto the apron, then ran over and climbed the buckle, it was really cool.
I love what they did with the reversals too. Seems like the CPU mixes up the timing better, and the strikes are faster so it's just not as easy to sit there and reverse every move. The CPU has been stringing some pretty good offense on me, just playing on Hard. It's great that the reversals aren't chained together like they have been in the past. The matches go much faster as a result. I'm really liking this a lot more than I expected, well done 2k.Comment

Hell yea. I am up to the Yokozuna vs Bret hart match 2k made this wrestling game very fun. I must say I finally have a American wrestling game that I am happy to play I can finally put my fire pro wrestling away. Haven't had this much fun since here come the pain and no mercyComment

This is the game 13 should have been, if there was a competent(and solvent) parent company behind it. Yukes have redeemed themselves in my eyes with this stellar effort. Everything, from play now matches, to universe, to of course 30 years of Wrestlemania, reeks of quality. The game is fun, engaging, and finally challenging. I love it!Comment
