Running animations are HORRID!! I will be getting FIFA for the ps4, not this garbage.

I'll honestly laugh very hard if they introduce mouthpieces next year as some huge game changing addition to the game. I'm sorry for being so negative, but EA Sports Tiburon is one of the most confusing and depressing company departments' out there. I promise I'll start to be positive once they start getting their junk together.

I must say that the running looks improved, but it still looks a bit herky jerky and the running animations are way too fast. If EA Sports Tiburon can turn things around next year in a pretty big way, I may just purchase the game. Sadly, they're going to have to do a lot before I purchase the game. I will probably only purchase the game if they change the way we have to kick the ball in the game -- give us something dynamic and innovative like 2K Sports did in APF 2K8. If they add the proper individual player accessories like mouthpieces and shoe brands. Revamp the way the announcers talk during each game, add a real halftime show like in NFL 2K5 -- where you show the announcers in the studio and have them go over each element of the game that happened during the first half. Give us a real non buggy franchise mode, and completely scrap the cut scene stuff that we get on the sidelines and during touchdown celebrations -- make it all in game. I also want the people on the sidelines to have the exact graphic fidelity that the players have on the field. Until all this is done, I will not ever purchase a Madden game again. We all know each of the elements I described can be properly implemented into the game. Oh and lastly, I would like it if the players could pull on the jerseys and have that dynamically affect the way the play turns out. I'm guessing all of these elements won't be put into the game until probably 4 or 5 years from now, so that's a good amount of money I get to save each year. ;-)

I did forget to mention that it would be nice if 2K also did the same things regarding a halftime show. I think NBA 2K is a great franchise and I will continue to support them, but they definitely need to step up their presentation elements a bit more as well.

EA games just look odd to me anymore. Even FIFA, their prestigious franchise, looks like a cartoon. How can these guys see MLB the show and 2K and still want to release their games? That video was horrid. Foot planting or not, it looks bad as a whole.

Not only did I say it...But I stand behind it...To each their own though...Alot of you guys sweat 2k14..I play it and its not a bad game but truth be told 2k14 is HOT GARBAGE to play online...2K14 couldn't be any less simulation...In fact, online play in 2k is about as far from sim as you can get.

While guys are going goo goo ga-ga over graphics in 2k14 that you'll only be able to notice in close up cut scenes I prefer to focus on whether these next gen sports games will deliver better AI, animations and more importantly Gameplay thats actually playable online. Lord knows that god's gift to every videogame , 2k, has not been playable online for sometime.

2k has ALWAYS been smoother than EA. For some reason 2k has movements down to the T while EA captures from who knows what and then the code is so screwed up that everything gets jerky and players slide everywhere to get into place.

Still photos look outstanding but tell me how important these still photos are when the game is not playable online...let me correct myself...It is actually playable online if you plan not to have a simulation experience...Still photos don't mean jack...A still photo is nothing but a still photo.

You guys will cry about everything under the sun where Madden is concerned then try to compare it to 2K while ignoring every game killing deficiency 2K has. I don't get it...Its almost like alot of you have a sick obsession to hate Madden no matter what then there are a group of followers who co-sign every negative post and statement made by some guy who is complaining about a shoestring or no elderly in the stands.

Its all good to be disappointed or not happy with certain or all aspects of the game...But if you have always hated the animations the gameplay and everything else...Why are you wasting your time in a Madden forum...I think there are more trolls in this forum than there are people who actually want a great game.

I play all sports games on all platforms and there are things that I like and dislike about most games...None of them are immune to criticism or me wanting improvement but using 2K hoops as the benchmark on where a game should be is a complete joke. There is no comparison either good or bad because both games have their issues.

look at this....now i dont care about small things usually but last gen in the crowd we had cutouts and at times just about 10 guys all doing the same thing.

Well this whole "crowd is alive" and whatnot is BS. Basicially EA is telling me they made about 10 fans again and just generated them throughout the stadium all each with animation. So your going to see the same guy doing the exact same thing. They couldnt take an hour or two more and add 20 more fans in doing there own animations? What a joke
I just circled the guys wearing 69 which are 7 in this small frame.

Ok...I'm not even going to negate your observation...But help me understand the scenario and situation in real life when you are playing the game and this affects your enjoyment or the gameplay.

Even in real-time game play the cutaways to the fans will be so quick and so sweeping that it would almost be impossible to tell anything other than a quick visual and audio presence. The only way this is even noticeable is by stopping the game and examining every frame...let me assure you that if I stop and examine every frame of a videogame I'll find thousands of issues and problems.

They could use 75,000 cut outs of George Zimmerman for all I care...I mean I would never even know it if they did and Thats something I never would look for because it has no impact on gameplay.

It's funny too because the devs THEMSELVES said it wasn't gonna be a big graphical upgrade. You gonna argue with them too? Meanwhile 2k is being regarded as one of the best looking games of any genre.

Anyway really need to see more footage that's not closed in on the player's feet to make any type of assessment. Gonna have to wait and see what we get tomorrow.

Can we please stop posting about 2k basketball in the Madden forum? I know the game looks incredible, and sometimes we can't help but compare, but cmon it's getting tiring.
