Even then, Ian and Cam are in two different places. Phil Frazier was working above Ian and Cam Weber would be working above Phil Frazier if he and Ian were there today. I know people like to compare Ian and Cam, but Cam is quite a bit higher in authority and decision making then Ian ever came close to being. Basically everything since Madden 13 has been implemented gameplay wise because of Cam and his plan and direction for the game. Current gen limitatitions have been holding them back, Madden 25 next gen is the tip of the iceberg. This franchise is going some place very special very soon. I think starting with Madden 15 people will really begin to catch the vision for what Cam is doing. They're getting the foundation for things like true step, living worlds, player sense ai on M25, but they're far from where they want to go with these things soon.

Yada yada yada, I think majority of the people will believe it after they see it a few times.

Exactly. Everything JP said has been spewed out of EAs and their supporters mouths for the life of current gen.

We are putting in a foundation....it's a 3 year plan....we are limited by the consoles...we want to make the game realistic....

At some point as a consumer you realize they aren't capable of doing what they say. Madden is a marketing ploy year in and year out

Serious question (not really). Does True Step only work in Practice Mode???


Reason I ask, is because when you see the close-up of AP's feet, the animation and foot planting looks very, very good. Close-up of CJ2K's feet? Not as good, but still very good. Playing favorites with the cover boy maybe? That isn't the issue though.


Fast forward to the end of the video, and look at CJ2k running in an actual game. Can someone please explain to me why the running animation morphs back to Madden circa 2007, complete with choppy animation rendering issues???


Is there like some trick or code to get the game to look good ALL THE TIME?! Do we have to unlock this "Animation Fidelity" that they are going on about? Seriously, what is it? Up, Down, Up, Down. Left, Right, Start?

We had amazing football games on the PS2! With better gameplay and presentation. What console limitations are we talking about right now? That's the biggest load of bull of I've heard defending Madden, that's truly ridiculous.
If amazing games like GTA 5 can be made on these consoles then Madden has no excuse.

Where's people's integrity? You don't need the new madden. You don't need your "fix" like you're some addict. I love football but I'm not gonna spend 60 bones to play a portion of a 3 year plan; you're basically playing an unfinished product. Then a lot of you guys will complain it's just like last year, but wont just stick to playing last year's title. I'll be voting with my wallet like I do with all games. Brand loyalty is seriously the only reason Madden is still afloat in my opinion.

The exclusive license is the reason people so loyal. Then again im not surprised they manage to stay afloat. Development cost for these games must be dirt cheap since the NFL is taking its fee from EA every year. I seriously wouldn't be surprised if 75% of the budget for each game went to marketing.
