Just had someone score 93 points on me, 49 by Steph Curry, what did I do wrong?

I'm not sure if he was using an exploit or Curry is the greatest player in NBA history. What am I missing? I had the defense supposedly playing tight on him. I had him doubled at one point. And yet he'd dribble a little, fire and swish every time.

You gotta play on ball and manually contest the shot. If you let the CPU guard him, he can make as many contested shots as he wants.

They tweaked the game to force users to play onball defense more. CPU defense is worthless on someone like him.

2k needs to turn down those 3pt sliders on next gen you can hit 70% easily each game its completely unrealistic

Sounds like for next gen things will change significantly with point of emphasis. It has been described that tight def means extremely tight as it should.

I don't have a problem rewarding onball, but at the same time I should be able to instruct good onball defenders to crowd someone forcing them to put the ball on the floor.

Instead if focusing on this silly on-ball / off-ball debate they should focus more on the chess match from a coaching standpoint.

The "solution" to every problem. To me when I hear this, its like me saying I cant find my keys, and everyone suggest me to check my pockets. More than likely that would be the first thing one would do.

you need to learn your defense. 43 isn't even a lot. Ive scored 60 with damian lillard just trying to see how many buckets i could get with him

i get rewarding on ball d, but it sounds like the guy he was playing against was playing smart basketball at all. poor offense shouldnt be rewarded just because the opponent isnt playing onball d.
