Anyone Having Issues Developing Goalies?

I can't seem to develop any of my goalie prospects to save my life. My forward and defensive prospects seem to be developing fine, but it's rare to find, draft and develop a goalie that's anywhere above 3.5 gold/green stars in my Be A GM mode.

My forwards and defensemen have been pretty solid, and I've got a few that could turn into franchise players. However, none of my goalies pan out. I'm rolling with Bernier (83) and Harding (80) in MN, but it looks like Kuemper has peaked at 77 3.5 white in Iowa. I have a few behind him, but no legitimate future starters.

I'm somewhere in the 2017/18 draft range and am looking at taking a goalie with my top pick, which I'm going to have to trade for as he'll go really high in the first round. Any suggestions?

I know playing Goalie online stinks compared to previous titles, I can say that much is true

I think i've seen a few goailes in the draft that are 4 or higher but ya its really rare, i'd just try to trade for a young goalie with good potential probably your best bet

Yea I guess with goalies seeing as how there is only 30 starting jobs every season it would be hard for the game to keep it balanced with out to many

I drafted a 4 star goalie to develop in year 2019, just starting 2023, hes a bit slower than Id like I notice, but only age 22. Hes getting all the starts in my AHL team, his first main year was 2020 as a back up, 2021 got 76 starts and went 42-24 for me with good stats. Didnt boost him that much yet.

Ill keep in touch as he progresses and see where he ends up by the age of 25.
