Help Please! How to start a new association with downloaded Rosters!

Am I missing something. Have tried everything I can think of and can not find a way to start a new association with downloaded roster. Please help!

    I do the following:

    1. Download the roster and save it.
    2. Load the roster file you just saved.
    3. Start your new association
    4. Save it

    Should do it!

Thank you for the reply. I did try that method and it is not working for some reason. Not sure what the issue is.

There's no other way to do it really.
Download the roster, load it and start your association. That's how you do it.

If it makes you feel better Injuries dont carry into Association (assuming thats what you're seeing and thats why you think its wrong) cause if you do what they said it works 100%.

In my opinion you have download a roster from 2k that doesn't work.
Sometimes roster have some problem and if you try to load them nothing happen...

You're not talking about online association are you? You can't use downloaded rosters online.

Is there a way to do this for My Player? I started a new myplayer and it had Lebron James in the rookie showcase!? along with Larry Sanders, which makes no sense.

The first my player I had was correct, but I wanted to use my rosters and Andrew Bynum was on pace for MVP for the 76ers who were 24-12!
