Its incredible that we still dont have raw gameplay

The game is about to come out and no raw gameplay.. I am tired of trailers and inteviews. Show us gameplay!!!

I don't know because i've never played live i'll admit that but 14 looks a lot like NBA live 10 maybe its just a updated rosters version if they put out the gameplay they'll lose money.

I don't know what these companies are trying to prove by leaving us in the dark about their product.

Not showing gameplay isn't really doing them any harm in terms of sales because once gameplay is shown, whether directly from EA or not, we'll decide one way or another.

This is the reason why I won't get Live and I have 2k preordered. The game has to be gold. It comes out in 2weeks. The PS4 comes out in less that 2 weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see anything until a few days before the PS4 comes out.

In my observation I believe NBA live will not survive for next gen consoles. They have not done a good job getting this game back in good graces with the community. They were suppose to market the heck out of this game, but have decided to go on with a hidden approach only showing us what they want us to see. If you look at most of the social media, you will see that a majority of the people who buy sports games do not trust them. They should have showed solid game play last month, but have prolonged this simple process. The other game will show game play by the end of this week and steal more of their thunder going forward. People are shelling out 400 to 500 dollars on these next gen consoles, and will demand these companies to sink or swim.

In my observation I believe NBA live will not survive for next gen consoles. They have not done a good job getting this game back in good graces with the community. I agree with your assessment! If EA really was confident about this game, then we would have seen the full course meal weeks ago. The problem is they don't have time to play games with consumers anymore. They lost the NCAA football title, have low Madden sales, and the current president of EA is selling shares of the company. I believe Next gen will allow another company to come in and compete with 2k and Take two.

What i wonder why in the world are they releasing the game 4 days later 2k14? people usually buy 1 basketball game and will stick to it.

They had 4 years to make this a eye popping game especially with next gen coming out and now we get nothing but practice mode watch irving or Conley just dribble.


Im not a Live/EA hate but compared to 2k these guys at EA have tons more to prove.

Gotta admit 2k really doesn't have anything to prove. We already know what type of product they put out year to year. Can't say the same thing about EA

If they had anything decent they would have shown it already. I bet they regret doing this at this point. Does anyone think they will attempt to compete with Sony's baseball game if this project is DOA?

They did say they were interested in getting into baseball again but nothing on the table for right now

In general, we've seen very little gameplay action from any sports games so far.

They have the most to prove. 2k has made some very good games the past few years and Sony has a fantastic baseball title. Depending on who you ask EA has a couple of good games in their soccer and hockey offerings but the golf game is going backwards you ask me.
